Zesty pickles.. yummm. that's the only kind I like.
today our DD Barby is going to "borrow" a dozen canning jars. she is doing tomatoes.
I don't think she knows how. like all kids, they don't pay attention when they are young.
sure, they might help, but don't like it and not interested in learning.
I am going to go to Menards and buy a 1/2" impact wrinch . I need it to take the blades off of my mower deck. I am going to buy two 2x8's to make a ramp for the lawn mower so I can work underneath it without having to take the deck off to change blades..
any pros or cons between a pneumatic vs electric impact wrench.? I need your opinion quickly because we are going in about an hour.

Jim, I would use the electric impact wrench.
Unlike the pneumatic it does not require a compressor and can be used anywhere electric power is available.

thanks for the advice. I will not be using the impact wrench that often. maybe a few times a year. I have three compressors to choose from. if the small portable one doesn't do it, I can always dig out my double banger and use it.
I decided to get a pneumatic wrench.
I had one in the past and it was adequate.
I am still not sold on the cordless tools.
I have had at least 10 cordless drills . as of today none of them work well if at all.
the batteries just do not last long.
of course they are all at least 10 years old. I know the batteries are getting better as time marches on.

My husband has a complete set of cordless tools. However, he is totally spoiled and will only buy Milwaukee FUEL tools. Those are contractor grade, very powerful tools - and pretty dang expensive to boot! At this point he has 15 batteries and 5 chargers for his 13 tools, se he can work most of the day with his cordless tools without waiting for batteries to recharge. We even have a Milwaukee cordless weedeater with a 18 volt battery that he bought for me to use. The Stihl trimmer we have is too heavy for me to use for very long and I can never get gas powered things to start without flooding them at least once, lol.
The cordless tools let him work anywhere, so setting up the wiring conduit and stuff to get electric to the utility buildings is easier to do. He spent the last couple of weekends helping to build a shed in the northwoods with my b-inlaw. No electric there.

Good job on the pickles bl4....we always make the kosher dills with the garlic....that's what we prefer here.
Yep, amazing how far the batteries have come. My neighbor showed me his new Makita chain saw that runs on two batteries.....nice and quiet and powerful enough for cutting all the limbs ...I told him that the only problem I see is that it won't keep the skeets away like a real saw does.

I bought the pneumatic 1/2" impact wrench.
totally because of the lowest cost. I will be using it very little each year so it should last me a lifetime..
I have a Stihl chain saw .. love it. and I have an electric chain saw . I need to plug it into a cord to make it go. I bought it over 25 years ago. cut firewood with it for a couple of years.
I bought it when I was building lots of decks for people. great for trimming posts and beams.. surprisingly has more than enough power. I think it is an Eager Beaver.. Heaven knows I have read the name a thousand times while using it, but still can't remember.. LOL
I have no less than 10 battery pac drills in the garage. most of the batteries are shot, so that makes the tool useless.. Bosch, Ryobi, B&D,
3 really cheap ones. bought the set because there were enough bits to cover the cost so the drill was basically free.and a couple yellow and black Dewalt..
wyo, I'll bet your hubby is in great demand with all those tools.. should never brag when you have something like that.. LOL
