ROPS ??
roll over protection system ??
just a guess..
today Annie and I made room on the sun porch for my 6ft long table for plants..
I will be doing a lot of potting out there if my air layers come through for me..
looks like the growing season will be over on the first day of fall..

Yes, rollover protection system.

Fall is arriving - I am planning to cover the tomatoes with plastic tonight. Hoping to extend the harvest at least a little bit longer. My plants are still loaded with green, yellow, orange, red ripening tomatoes...

Finally canned my honey. Ended up cooking it in the crock pot to drive the moisture level down so it ended up pretty dark. Not what I wanted but at least I did get a little bit.

my first , and last , attempt at taking honey was less than successful .
I didn't have a clue. I cut the whole comb out of the frame. spent hours straining the honey from the wax and bees.
I finally ended up with a 2 quart jar full.
I set it at the end of the kitchen table and told the 3 kids, "don't touch it".
I turned to go out the door and CRASH !!
I spun around to see two guilty looking little girls standing like deer in the headlights.
I lost it. thankfully I did not harm or kill anyone, but I hopped around and yelled a LOT.. TEN SECONDS ???
can't remember TEN SECONDS ???
years later I was told that I yelled at the wrong daughter. the older one dropped it and stood back so it would look like the littler one did it..

I can laugh about it now..

Let us know how it tastes bl4….that's actually more than we would consume in a year. I buy a quart from the neighbor and it lasts all year...enjoy and way to go!
Great Badgers game yesterday...the Pack needs some help...somewhere....kina like ...everywhere!

I spent a little time before the game outside cleaning up the yard and mowing weeds that I never got to all summer..
I shoulda stayed out there.
I did go back out before the game was over. when I realized even a miracle couldn't save them..
I cut a few elderberry branches and brought them in.. trimmed them and got about three dozen green scions into pots.. If these root, I will transplant them into individual pots in a few weeks from now..
I did some rototilling too, in the grape row.
