Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I need to find a good recipe for pumpkin roll cake - and figure out how to make it. My friends mom used to make it and I just love it, but I never got the recipe before she passed. My friend hates to cook, so she doesn't have any of her moms recipes. :th

Hang onto your hat today outside.....finished the harvest today picking 3lbs of perfect radishes that I planted late, along with a 5 gal pail of really nice potatoes, 3 heads of late cabbage, 7 very large buttercup squash, and a half of pail of large Cortland apples..... life is good after all the rain.

I love buttercup squash.. don't care much for any other kinds..
I went and cut all of the air layers and brought them into the house. didn't want them to freeze last night..
have 2 mulberry, 12 grapes, 3 of one kind of apple and 4 of another..

good chilly wisconsin morning, if froze good here last night.
I started potting the air layers.
the two mulberries had a very nice root system..
some of the grapes dis, too.. but there were a few duds.. however I think I have enough to finish out the row next spring.
the apples are iffy, but they do have the signs of roots.. maybe they will perk up after they are potted..

ETA: I have all the plants potted.. Now we wait until spring to see if they grow or not..

GO BADGERS....
Nice afternoon in the woods today. Only saw one deer tonight right at closing....I'll be back in the woods again tomorrow afternoon after the wily whitetail...
Time to start making more wood too!

I saw my aunt today who is hosting Thanksgiving....and told her I can bring all of the turkey for the holiday this year. She was exceedingly ick about it. I do not understand people who don't like real food. Do people really think meat factories are somehow cleaner than doing it yourself? :(
