Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Stopped by to wish all a Happy New Year!!

Amazing how fast it goes by.
Coop is fine, hope to do some work on it
after I catch up with the business the next few
weeks.
Think I'm at 1 roo, 9 layers & 3 pullets.
pretty much cover the color spectrum of eggs.
2 of the layers are retired, and have earned it.

Not a bad year for the birds. Lost a few to predators.
Have had worse years. No meaties this year. The 2 businesses
buried us. We sold one in late Nov.
What a blessing to be able to enjoy the holidays for the 1st
time in years.

Happy New Year!
I'm new to BYC, and to Chickens in general. We have our first chicks due to arrive at the end of February, and am excited to learn all I can to get them off on the best foot. Funny story, we're also new to Wisconsin as well, having moved to our new home back in August of 2018. So, we clearly like adventures!

Welcome to the Cheeseheads SPC....what part of the State are you located? Extreme differences from North to South exist here, and from where did you come?
Cold here last night in the single digits....sounds like warmer weather is in the near future for a while.

I'm in Cedarburg, so it's 27 and snowing beautifully my way. <3 We've just moved from Oswego IL, and before that Bloomington In. So, we're clearly Midwesterners ha! Thank you so much for the welcome! <3
