Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

@jvls1942 It sure was nice of you to let Annie sleep in, lol.
My poor DH is usually awake at 5 am every day, no matter what. 6 am is sleeping in for him.

I would like to add a room AC unit to the bedroom, but with the old wiring in the house it would not be a good idea. Maybe I can figure out how to run better electric to that room.

Beat you Jim, been awake since 3...... am. For absolutely no reason.

Broke down and picked up steroids for this rash, no way I was going to make it in 98* heat this weekend in Texas with this itchy crap. Heading to Texas for my cousins wedding.

Chickies are doing great! Electric fence works like a charm, they stay in everything else stays out, plus the coop is Fort Knox so they are very safe.

Looking forward to a break from everything. It will be nice to go explore a new city. I want to get pics of the bats leaving the bridge.....

wyo, I ran dedicated receptacles for the AC's.
except for this last one. I have a 200AMP breaker box, though.
Mel, hope the rash goes away quickly.
I think Frankie has either a heat rash or else her dew claw has grown back again. she chews at her hind leg a lot. have to check that out today.
tip: if you have puppies, clip the dew claws off early on. just use a nail clipper. there is a tiny bone that usually gets broken off after the dog gets more mature..
weatherman said that today is going to be the perfect summer day. so go do something outside.. I have a helper today, so I am going to try to get the AC frame installed..

@jvls1942
Sorry your helper couldn't help. Sounds like you need to get out there with your tractor and level that area after you free the mower.

Last summer, my husband managed to put the zero turn mower up onto a log. It took me and a tractor to get that thing off the log - and the log is still there, lol. I wanted him to hook a chain up to it and I would pull it over to the burn pile, but he didn't want to take the 5 minutes to do that ...

Fish Fry Friday to everyone. Baked Cod and Haddock with a few breaded shrimp along with bacon broccoli salad with a lot of sharp cheddar and onions.....nice day to skip the spuds this Friday.
No air here...all the doors and windows are open.

Stay cool...bigz

Hello from Austin! Looking forward to some exploring today before we bake at the wedding....... outdoor wedding at 6pm, temps supposed to be around 93*...... good thing I have a nice light dress.

Chickens do love their digs.... I have a hard time getting them to leave the fenced area.

Hoping the hubs rips out all the poison ivy while I am gone......

wyo, where I got the mower stuck was in a rut the big tractors made. it is a real wet spot. I would have to wait for a long dry spell before I took my tractor there.
yesterday I tried sweeping the lawn again. the Brinley sweeper was not working , again.
then I noticed one drive wheel was turning and the other drive wheel was skidding along. Hmmm ?
I took the sweeper up to the garage and flipped it upside down. one drive wheel was not engaging the pinion gear. took that wheel off and that is when I noticed there was a shear pin missing. this morning I found a shear pin and now I am waiting for the thread lock to dry.
maybe I will end up with a decent lawn sweeper after all.
after all this rain we had, the garden is dry. might have to water tonight if no rain is forecast.
......jiimiinwiisc......

Have fun bl4 at the wedding. You should be able to find a great steak place to enjoy a good cut of red meat.
Hope your sweeper is fixed Jim. I've never had one but thought about it many times with all the leaves we have here come fall.
My garden could actually use a drink too.

I was in the garden yesterday for a short time weeding - dry as dust in there. Literally, the dirt fell off the roots of the weeds as I pulled them, no moisture left in that sand, lol. I was going to get the soaker hoses laid out - but ended up working on the garden fence with DH instead. God blessed us with a rain storm - storm started at 3:15 this morning and by 7 am we had 1.23". Guess I don't need to water for a couple of days.
We are currently trying to fill a 15' diameter pool we bought from Menards. Taking a lot of time to do it, as we are trying to not burn out the well pump. 2 hours of filling the pool, 2 hours not filling pool... the pool is only 1/4 of the way full so far... we may not be able to use it this week at all:hit I think with the 90 degree forecast for every day we may really want it.
