Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Just caught up on 3 pages of reading. Good to see everyone is doing well.
Been busy making firewood all week since I fell behind with the normal year or two cut ahead. The weather has been a true blessing allowing me to do some catching up for this year's needs. Sounds like the temps will hold out for another week or so. That is a good thing for sure. The saw will continue to get a workout as long as the weather cooperates.

Stay Safe .... bigz

we got just a dusting of snow today.
it is white enough for Christmas now,
as far as I am concerned.
today by brother picked me up and we
went to the VFW to get our Christmas hams.
then he treated me to breakfast.
keep cutting that wood.
cookies are all decorated and the two foot
tree is on the table and shining brightly.
If anyone wants to send me a present,
PM me for my address .:lau

We had a least 8 inches of snow and then another light dusting.

Plowed yesterday for the first time. Just plowed the drive way in 30 min maybe. I have fluid filled tires, tires spin some but not to bad have never used chains on the MF 65.
I usually plow a path to barn, but not this time
The downside of plowing is the little bit of snow left and smashed down and slippery. At least for me, I have gravel driveway.
February sometime I will spread sand if needed, higher sun angle.
2 months to go and Feb 16th :D:ya

I plowed the heavy wet stuff late yesterday afternoon, Prolly close to 8" of the snowman type snow. I have rim guard in my rears too and no chains either, plus I have a box blade on the rear for ballast, and it works well to push snow out of the way. We were dumped last night with another 4" of light stuff. The plow just went through, so looks like round 2 is in order. The plow clipped my mailbox and I needed to fix that today too. Is it Spring yet?
