1/2 inch here or so of rain, chances of rain for the week,

Glad to hear yah got some chicks from the eggs.

My broody hen gave her 5 eggs, 4 hatched 2 black and 2 blonde. Shes happy or looks content anyway.

These guys are living in my backyard so the chickens are in the run/coop for a while.

We are going to be going camping up there, and are nervous as we havent traveled that far in a long time.

today I think I will get my two barrel rain collector finished.

I finished the rain barrels just about fifteen minutes
before a small thunderstorm came through.
How is that for a test run, eh ?

the barrel at the right is where the water is collected.
when it gets full, the spill over goes to the barrel on
the left through that white tube.
I will be adding a third barrel to the right of those two
barrels.
both of these barrels have spigots for hoses on the bottom.
the barrel on the left has an overflow hose.

Good job on rain barrels Jim. We didn't get the last rain you did.
Hens are backing off on their stellar laying. Still getting 6 to 8 a day though.
Weeds are growing better than crops this season.... dang

it would be nice to be able to graft veggies to weed stock.
I finally found a place that has 2x2 vinyl downspout.
Fleet Farm. now I can finish the rain barrels properly.
