I'm sure the threat of that would be enough to get something to happen!!!!

Babylady4, How come you changed your avitar? I loved that little ducky. He was awesome. Can you E-mail me the picture of him? I'd love to keep it.

How's it going...... Hank, I prefer the wine too! I've talked with some of the good'ol boys that make gallons of different batches. They make it sound simple, while my head is spinning, thinking....

what did he just say

.

Once a person actually did it, it prolly would be second hand. They have alot of good advice, as well as good technique.....with pails and the way they syphon off the clear stuff, that's goody to drink.

The wild grape jelly turned out great. The flavor is awesome.

Stay safe, and have fun

I changed it because it is October! I love that pic of the graveyard, perfect for Halloween...

The pic I had before is of one of the EE chickens I hatched out this past spring. We call her Chipmunk since she has all those stripes down her back.... she's a big hen now; I'll have to get some recent pics of her up at some point.

I'll be happy to PM you the pic though!

I'm a bus driver, I'm getting to the point of not telling anyone because of the bad press, I wonder what would happen if the TV got those videos???? he was still driving tonight !!!!!

Windy Afternoon to you too!

I cleaned up some of the gardens today. Really not the best day to get er done....but most of the clean up is done. Still need to get everything tilled though...

Canned the last V8 today...another 12 qts added to the pile. That makes the final total count 79. Just right for us!

Suzie made 3 more fresh apple pies today. One for us & two for the kids....that's fun sharing the complete harvest....

Sounds like you had a good day, bigzio. This afternoon I made spaghetti sauce from my own tomatoes; ended up with 3 pints, tiny batch but just using up the last of the ripe ones. It was my first time canning anything solo, rather proud of myself

Anyone have a killer recipe for green tomatoes? Got a bunch of those too.

Stay warm this weekend, folks.

amyable -Cute little guy. I love him!

And Babylady4-Yes. E-mail your little EE to me, please. Not PM.

Stay warm every one.

amyable, congrats on your first sucessful saving the harvest...It gets addictive, and the gardens start to grow larger. One small sq ft garden prolly 4x8 will produce more than one can imagine. I'm glad you got er done!

The green fried tomatoes are great, but that only uses a pan full....

I'm trying to find a green salsa receipe that I like....still searching for that though. I like to keep it tasty and simple.
