I am also bringing my little humanes. 4 and 10. I know a few others are too. If you want a hotel, I would suggest the Best Western Grand Seasons. They have a kiddy pool, hot tub, 2 water slides, sauna, and a small pool. 715-258-9121. There are a few other hotels in the area too. Comfort Suites (they have a kiddy pool and stuff there, but I've never been there)715-942-0500, Village Inn has a small pool,715-258-8526, and then the Park Motel. (but I don't really recomend that one. Kinda junky) And lots of bed and breakfasts.

STAY AWAY FROM THE PARK MOTEL!

(if you get my drift....)

Confort Suites has a little spash pool with sprayers for the little kids, a bigger pool for the bigger kids, and a hot tub for the grown-ups.

Tyler, I would sell you my house but I can't have chickens (therefore we are selling). Anybody know anyone who would like to move at the end of the school year to a nice little Victorian cottage home? 3 br, 2 bath, basement, 2 car garage, about 80% of the house has been remodeled, beautiful flower beds filled with perennials, small garden pond in backyard....... (sigh)

Two more days of clinicals to get through then the test...... I just KNOW I'll get the bedpan skill because it has 30 steps!

Bigzio, haven't heard from you. Are both able to come?

Babylady4, I wish someone would just drive by your house and say....I'll buy it. You got a sign out there???? Fluorecent colored with lights on it???? The size of Texas????

Well at this time we are giving in to buying a house in the city. From what we have found so far, there are just not houses cheap enough for us to afford in the countryside. We are looking for something listed at under $100k.

Babylady PM or email or call me if your house is in that price range. We have 7 houses to tour tomorrow.

I did just have someone tell me that there are foreclosure properties available in the countryside for under 75k. hmmmmm....

Hi all, I just posted in the new member introduction area but wanted to stop by Wisconsin and say hello. My family and I live in western Ozaukee County on a farm that's just ripe for chickens. I'm in the process of planning, so no chickens yet...but hoping to be good to go by spring. So anyone got chicks for sale????

If that's the case....we have a house in town in Waupaca for sale for $85,000. We have a renter right now. 3 BR, 1 ful Bath, detached 2 1/2 car garage, legally 1.8 acres but that's because of Railroad rights, otherwise there's 2.4 and the back part of the property connects with one of the city parks, which all the parks are connected by 15 miles of trails. And it's within 1/2 mile of 6 other parks. Just saying!

Shout out to all my peeps in Wisconsin!!!

I lived in Stoughton back in the early '70s...and I miss everyone!!! Actually - I miss everything about Wisconsin (except maybe the mud in April!)

We still have family there as well as up in Cable/Drummond area.

Anyway, I just wanted to say

WOW! I told you! didn't I tell you? Think the dead of winter is giving people time to sit and chat. Now so many posts to try and respond to. We had all talked about more people raising chickens and putting in gardens with the economy being what it is. Our personal indulgence was for better food! I'm gonna miss more than a few but here goes. Welcome home Tyler! I know your trip had to be very interesting and enlightening. I'm very jealous! And good luck on the house hunt. mac in abiliene that's funny! Wish I would have latched on to a few of those bears years ago. Probably worth something now. Or in another 20 years. fordmommy- you are a dynamo! babylady4 Hang in there. YOU CAN DO IT! Sounds like you and maybe fordmommy might be doing a lot of leg work. If that turns out to be the case WE all will appreciate it! SUCK SUCK! Zohbug we are all nuts. You can tell by the stupid grins on our faces when we're with our chickens. I get a lot of grief at work about the way I go on about the kids. THEY have no idea. As I've said before I look forward to getting out of work and coming home to L, the cats, and especially my chickens. We're not the ones who are nuts. But every looney always says that. cristy17 in my opinion and am speaking for myself. I believe that the UP was merely annexed to that other state and I will personally vouch for you if you would care to attend the upcoming gala event. Even though I don't really know you. Do you love and take good care of your chickens? OK your in. BCC Mr. Peabody's coal train has hauled it away. "John Prine". I know that I'll forget someone without extensive research but
