I'll be going bringing some blue black splash wyandottes born last spring and if anyone wants some eggs for hatching let me know I acctually have my black wyandottes in their own coop so they would be all blacks. also will be bringing columbian wyandottes from last spring debating on selling them.

Fordmommy you talked about some blr they are starting to lay. I hatched 5 blr's out but they look like the black version so now I changed the coops up and should be getting blues and the splashes. Mike

amyable Yah. The property ID. I don't know what the big deal is. You go online, give your address and they send you a piece of paper in 3 days. But here in my township, that's all you need and you can have a thousand chickens. Or any animals for that matter. No limit.

I'm with Amy they can have my chickens when I run out of ammo. From my unregistered guns! OOPS! Those are air rifles. Another beautiful day as noted by all. Not just because of the weather but one more week out of the way. I keep settin em up and knocking em down. 6 to go. Come on Baby!! Daddy needs a new life. Got 10/9 today and one came to within a couple of thousands of an inch to a new record. Must be the weather or the threats of continuing the beatings.

I'll really try and get some pics of Peaches on here this weekend fordmommy just explain to your youngest that I'm an idiot, hope he understands. If I can't I'll ask you to PM your E address and I'll send them that way. I was out last night putting them to bed and I heard a hen turkey crying for companionship so I called her with my voice and both her and the hens responded.

Yep, it's ok to frost seed grass seed. It's the only way to go. Get er in early and save alot of work having to water. It works well to do it in the fall too. What doesn't germinate in the fall will come up in the spring.

Bigz didn't hunt long beards last year nor did I put in this year but I'll probably put in for a spring tag next year. I've had a pretty good run of luck in that area. I've filled my tag every year for around 10 years. I like huntin em better than deer. More stealth involved. Other than taking my youngest daughter out with me when she was little [oh the stories I have] and the first year and when I hunted with my BFF I've hunted alone. I've hunted mainly in SW Wi. and here in my area. I've introduced a few people to the sport and had a ball doing it. Typically we'll go in a few days ahead and do some scouting and pick out a couple of good ambush spots then go in the evening before and set up a camo net complete with amenities. I like to be in there ready about an hour before light. And just listen to them wake up along with the rest of the woods. That's the best part! I'll roost them just to know where they are but I WILL NOT set up to shoot them when they hit the ground as some do. I like to set up on their morning feeding or struting areas and do some calling. I just love to hear them waking up in the crisp morning air then when the light is enough for them, the fly down. Then listening to them talk and start feeding. I always give a few location calls before they fly down. They stop talking and listen. Then a couple of flydown calls when their about to fly down. Sometimes that's all that's needed in the hill country they'll fly down sometimes darn near on top of you if your set up is right. They'll glide a long ways and you'd swear the trees are comin down on you when they come through the canopy. I've seen a lot of weird things. Sometimes only a few light calls and sometimes you have to wear those calls out to get them to come in. One thing holds true it's never the same thing twice. You think you have them figured out and it's left turn Clyde. You have a perfect set up and did nothing wrong all of a sudden they take off. Your screwin around and their right in front of you. Go figure. I bought an 835 Mossberg 3 1/2 inch when they came out, nonvented barrel. It's mean on both ends but tamed the recoil a bit by putting an adjustable butt plate on it, being a machinist has it's advantages. I've patterned it to get the right load and wouldn't want to be on the receiveing end. It'll reach out and touch someone. Sorry to go on but it's a fun thing for me. Who knows Bigz maybe we could go sometime. I think I'd like that. I miss the hills down south. That's where my heart is.
