Sounds like everyone's been busy-just finished our last unit for May 1st and now I can go just a bit slower

Came home this afternoon to find 1 of the 5 eggs pipped already and we are at day 19! The Andalusian eggs that we ordered were shipped today so by Friday or Saturday we will have those-our DD is all excited.

Speaking of excited our foster pup will start her trip home on Sat!

Suppose I should go finish cleaning the stuff out of my car so I can take DD and our silly red head to obedienace training tonight.

Those turkey babies are adorable! I always wanted to breed some turkeys but lost them to blackhead before anything happened! Good job on the unit H&R--got it done just in time...hopefully all of them will stay filled for a while and give you a rest. So when do you get more puppies? I have to call SFTS and see if they have any pregnant ones...I am having puppy withdrawal! DrH--glad you ofdered at last! These SLW will be great for you seeing as you share a birthday...I have a card that I make that has chickens with birthday hats on...thought of that when you said hats all around.

Not getting the ducklings from Annarie now...she found a buyer that could get them this weekend and I said go ahead and dont feel bad--Lord knows that I have more than enough babies around here right now! Got a bunch of plants from the horticulture class today...now I have to keep them somewhere until it is warm enough. I sure wish I had a greenhouse like they do at school! Yeah--then my tortoise Stuart would have been in there and he wouldnt be GONE! I spent a few hours looking for him again today...how do you find a tortoise that is 4" long in 100 acres of land? It's not like he really comes when you call him! I am so ticked about this whole situation...I wait until I am old and finally get a tort only to lose him! I am so mad at myself!!!

OK--I am going out to ride my horse with my daughter...maybe that will settle me down a bit! For anyone's information...the hay that FM's friend is selling is grassy, marsh and brome. If you need that type it is still for sale. I talked to John and they were in a boat FISHING! Lucky them!

Evening to All.... Hope everything is better with your dad doc. I lost mine 6 years ago. Don't forget to ask him anything on your mind. I was gonna ask dad something, but it was too late.

fm had the link to the SLW in hortonville. I for the life of me can't find the phone#.

Amy, my seedlings that I started from sandhill seeds are doing good. I'm thinkin it's to cold at night for good germination...hope you have good luck. If the soil isn't warm at night, I don't have good luck.

Jim has some guineas and muscovy ducks available in the future. They have to be picked up at the farm, if anyone is in need.

I am feeling a little better after my ride. The horse was good and behaved well. Then we got the trailer out and the spilled hay off the driveway. Everything is parked where it is supposed to be. A good feeling.

Had a good cry about Stuart and decided I will make fliers to give the neighbors and then just let everything take it's course. Not much else to be done in this situation. One of my friends on another board had a tort go missing only to turn up 3 weeks later. Turned out he was just under the ground estivating for a while. (it's kind of like hibernating) So that is what I am doing...a couple prayers probably wouldnt hurt though...

Sage advice Bigz! Dad and I have always been straight with each other. The whole paternal side says exactly what they think. That can and does cause some hurt feelings but at least you know where you stand. BBCB, BL4, and TO still sending positive vibes. I know things will work out. BBCB you'll get a surprise phone call and TO Stuart will be in a really obvious place. And BL4 will get that job. That's the Dr's orders! Going to add another row of onions then head to the BFF's to drop off some eggs and left over onion sets and extra seeds. He has some 1 1/4" pipe and extra fence posts. Then some shopping in Rapids. Wind is already picking up glad I got the fine seeds planted. Supposed to rain tomorrow, good day for making bread and working in the garage. The brooder box has been in there for 2 weeks a couple more and I'll get to use it.

Good morning- we now have 2 babies out and hard to tell if the other 3 eggs are doing anything yet. 1 BW/W Ameraucana and 1 Welsummer!

So glad I have paperwork to do today!

All is well here. Did A LOT of planting and weeding in the flower beds yesterday. Still waiting for those 70's.

Sorry I don't know the dance for that one. Guess I'll have to learn it.

My plan today is to plant in the garden. I have some stuff that can go in there now. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Here's a pic of my Rooster! Hope you guys all like him! I sprayed him with a little gold paint to make him POP. He's one of my favorite decorations in my gardens right now.



These frogs I painted. I got them from a friend and they were very ugly. Now they are SO COOL!
