Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good Morning! Well I'm off to a flying and crashing start. My big saw is still acting up so it's carb rebuild time. Took Dad's saw with in case mine wasn't running and it was out of gas and I don't have any. On to plan B. Go get gas in the Jeep, saw gas, and fill the gas can. Then to Rapids to get a carb rebuild kit and gaskets for the lower unit plugs on the boat motor. Then mow the yard, fill the lower unit with grease, rebuild the carb, pick beans and cilantro. Push Push Push. I swear I'm goin fishin soon. Have a good one!

Can I just say what a pain it is to take pictures of ducks!!!

The three that look like Greys; it is hard to tell, but the one is just a tad lighter than the other two which makes me think it is a pastel.

Fine looking ducks BL4! Any "trouble" with the authorities as yet? I pray your luck holds out! DrH you did it again...lift your butt out of bed-

I could just see it! Good for you to still be lifting BBCB! Get that heart rate up and keep away the arthritis pain! I hear turkeys making a racket out there...guess I better cut this one short! Gotta take dd24 to work. I drove my van into the river "on the road" and shorted the starter out and the clutch went on the little truck...we are down to 1 vehicle for 3 people! Makes me nuts! Good thing ds works 3rd! Gotta run! Have a fantastic day! Terri O

Nice pics, BL4. I seriously can't believe how fast your daucks have grown.

Well-the youngest has a tooth cleaning this morning and the rest of the day......

yep! Pool! I was actually thinking that maybe we will head to the lake to take the dogs swimming. We'll see.

Well- and I am NOT going to miss that camper is much as I thought. We slept in it last night....well...kinda. The oldest says at about 2 am....Mom, Can I go sleep in the house? I can't fall asleep out here.

It was a combination of two things. Full moon! And everytime anyone moved, the camper moved too, waking up everyone. Yep. I can't wait to sleep in the new one.

Looks like everyones scared to go outside cause of the skeeterz! Me too! I went into my garden today, and picked a couple cukes, and eggplants, and one habenero. I got bitten like 548235 times. Ugh. Ripped out my parsley plants. They went to seed. Should have left them in there to dry out so I could save the seeds. Oh well. Also ripped out my fennel, as it was getting beaten up by the cukes.

Also pickled one quart jar of banana pepper rings. Have another quart that I could do...I didn't use a canning recipe, just did that and shoved it in the fridge. I have a lot of nana peppers, but not enough to make the quantities a lot of the recipes call for.

Went to the food stand out by my house and for $5 scored a huge bag of zuchinni, 3 cukes, and about a pound or so of green beans. Gonna prep those for freezer camp today. Also gonna clean my house. How does one house get so dirty so fast? I guess with a toddler, anything is possible. lol.

Oh I was just looking at those. Buy a pair then you can have babies in the spring.

Does anyone know what I can put on my roses so the bugs stop eating them? It has to be pet friendly too. Figured I'd ask the experts.

I think the bugs are eating everything-our bean plants don't look so good with leaves eaten up-the bugs look like the japanese beetles. The skeeters just love DH so he actually sprayed the yard(at least the upper half) and around the garden and then uses 1/2 a can of Deep woods off on himself to go outside! Actually using the yard spray helps alot.

Waiting for DH to get home so we can put the Welsummer eggs in the incubator-will be a full load!

Had to get a small unit ready for handing keys over tomorrow- not to bad took only a couple hours to go through and then back to the one I was working on yesterday-will start painting tomorrow.

DD has softball practice later today and then will play tomorrow and Sat for the year end tourney. Her team has struggled this year-it's U10 and has some 4th graders(which she is) and most kids are 3rd graders- and some of them don't pay attention to what is going on. Makes it hard for the kids who really want to play.
