Welcome back Dr H-glad to hear that things are slowly but surely getting better for you guys!
fl.gif
that everything keeps heading in the positive direction for you!

BBCB- nice meeting both of you yesterday, sorry we didn't a chance to talk much, things were kind of crazy yesterday as the Aussie foster people were running behind when they dropped off the dog for us to watch....didn't realize that they were going to stay as long as they did! Thanks for the nice comments about our birds and hope the pullets do well for you! DD was glad that they were going to a great home! DD hopes to hatch out some of the Partridge Bantam Cochins for the first of the year so we'll keep you posted- those birds are so calm even the 2 boys!

beckyschicks- glad you found the little guy and he's back where he is safe!

bigzio- sorry to hear about the rooster but do agree with you on that!

WIChookChick- at this point we don't have any extra Blue Andalusians to get rid of but we'll keep you in mind-I know DD wants to hatch some out beginning of the year for 4-H

Hope everyone else is having a good start to the day-GO PACKERS!

Good nearly afternoon! Took forever to catch up with you guys...man, miss a day, and you "pay!"

Glad to have you back Dr H! My DH said if you didnt get back into your house we would have to start calling you Dr U (for unhappy I guess) I told him you are always happy...and I was RIGHT! I think you are the most upbeat and positive guy I have ever met! Congrats on being back in your house and I am glad everyone was good to you with help.

I am going to look at some hay this afternoon after my puppies get microchipped. I have 5 foster moms here and about 30 puppies...can you say "puppy breath" overload???

Well I never do anything half way...I guess that's why those organizations love me...I dont know how to say NO! Anyhow, three litters are leaving next week to go up for adoption so I will be down a bit. Unfortunately I have a beagle with 6 now and she is a barker...but she sounds like a lost calf when she barks! She is very skittish so there is a bunch of work to be done there!

Sounds like I will actually have a camper AND heat for the Palmyra trip. DH believes that he will camp with me and drive to the other party we are invited to. (TX Hold 'em) I dont want to go to that...not a card fan!
Anybody hear from Raiquee lately? I am wondering about the ducks and if she is over her "sickness" time...how did the CT scan go Carol? I am sorry the two WI names just mix me up...cant ever remember who is who! Anyone else have that problem? I bid on some nest boxes from barn wood...they are in Janesville so hopefully she will join us here on our thread (that is growing by leaps and bounds!)

OK--I have better git--lots to do and DH is off to waste time watching football

so I get the farm to myself!

Have a fantastic day everyone! Terri O

TO those are kind yet true words. I went through the unhappy a long time ago can't think of many things that would that would make me so again. Everybody whistle Always look on the bright side of life Whew, whew whew, whew whew whew whew whew whew!

I would like to thank Mr. Eric Idle for embracing my perspective. One of the clerks at the hotel said I was the only one finding humor in this ordeal, that made me feel good. Laura has handled this better than I expected her to. Course my humor might have helped a little. She be stressin and dragging something out and I'd say honey HONEY. She's stop and say WHHAAT? I'd say don't drag that on the floor your getting it all dirty! Then I'd laugh and she'd call me a bad name. But to fair she'd say something to me when I was bone tired and I'd snap at her but would appologize within 10 minutes. I warned her when we first started coming back in here that I'd do so she would know that it wasn't me but she already knew that. I love her so!

Sunny and warm next week need a wind dance fm and all you hoofers out there. Think we'll sleepin in the house tomorrow night if things go as planned. If the water level had stayed was thinking instead of chickens maybe gators. If I may TO Sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite! Maybe your DH meant Dr Underwater. Or Dr U boat captain or......

I would like to say Hi to all the "Cheeseheads" We are in the Green Bay area and just started with chickens this year. We have 9 broilers that are 6 weeks old and 1 pr. of Jungle chickens. We think they are about 8 weeks old. So new to all this and we are having fun building the coop and run and watching the chickens. In spring we want to get layers that we can raise.

I hope Harly works out. the buckeyes are sweet and smooth and see no real problems with them at all, even with 3 males.

Glad the Pack won today. I was beginning to wonder though! Hope the bears get beat tonight.

Finally off to the woods in the morning. What a great start to the day, no matter what happens. Waking up from the darkness is priceless in my mind.
Have a great week. Stay Safe.... ~ bigzio

Dr. H- happy to hear you are in a happy place and wokring on getting things back in order. hello everyone else on this chilly night.

Well the official coop building is starting - yeah! Frame for run is together and walls are started on the coop. And I have a friend who is giving us some "guinea pigs" ... well not really the rodents, but she has some 18 month old pullets she is going to give us a pair of to try out the coop and get us some of those yummy eggs. We hope to get babies in the spring and will have the added challenge of adding them to this flock then.

Otherwise my kids had a ball at the pumpkin patch today and we go again to a different one in a few weeks with a moms group in town. Keeping me busy!

take care

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone would want to buy any BCMs? I won 8 in an auction and might buy another 12 or so but I cant keep all of them so I will need to sell some of them. Let me know if anyone would be interested. Thanks!

Good, chilly morning to you all. It's warming up nicely though. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Bigzio,

Glad things are drying up too. See. This is the excuse you need to "get away" in a couple weeks. Come to Kettle Marine State Park with us. You have the camper and all.

Beckyschicks, You are lucky you were able to catch him. I laugh when everyone talks about your quail eggs and how small they are. Mine are like half the size. Okay. Not quite that small. But smaller. I got an egg from my friend who has your kind of quail so I could compare.
