Hey everyone!
Well, I have skimmed over the last few pages, so here it goes:
Bigz) Congrats! Me and hubby just celebrated our 1st anniversary and it was wonderful
TO) Sorry about the foster dog attacking your chickens! Sounds like you got a lot going on over there!
DrH) Sorry about your damage and FEMA
WIChick) Sorry about all the problems you have been having with your arm lately!
Ok, I think thats all I can comment on for now.
So, I'm about 15 1/2 weeks pregnant. Ugh, this kid is grounded when it comes out. Last time I went to the doctor they thought of hooking me up to an IV fluid drip as I was dehydrated, and was puking all the time! Gave me some anti-vomit pills that they give to chemo patients and have only had to take a couple. It's getting better, as long as I take my mornings easy my days are usually good. Yesterday I had a bad day as hubby went out hunting and I had to get up quick with the toddler. Puked for the rest of the day
Sucks. I made a delish turkey dinner (the whole she-bang) but luckily left overs taste just as good! Hubby shot (bow) a deer, but he pursued her too fast and she was laying down and he accidently spooked her and she ran off into private property. DANG! If he woulda had her he coulda got a buck right away (he saw TONS) and then his tags woulda been filled and we'd be done with this "hunting" nonsense.
He is really bummed he couldn't go get her, he doesn't hunt just to kill, he only hunts if we are going to eat the meat.
Well school is dwindling down, and I start clinicals soon! Over half the class didn't get placed, they just don't want students right now
Luckily I got a placement. Unluckily? It's in Sheboygen. Freakin' an hour and a half from my house. It wouldn't be such a big deal, if clinicals wasn't during the WINTER and I wasn't going to be PREGNANT. Sigh. I couldn't wait until next semester to get placed to see if I could get placed at a better spot, but then I'd be running my clinicals longer and having to give birth would screw it all up. Rather get it over and done with, sooner I get it done with the sooner I can get a job and me and DH can get out of this SLUMP.
In-laws moved back in from the UP to live with us for winter. Paying us rent which is nice, help us out some for christmas. Our unemployment hit another extension, also nice. Thought we were going to lose it and DH would have to pick up 2 jobs to help with my half. Seeing as I can't do 40 hours of clinicals and be expected to work while taking exams and being pregnant. No siree! Would love to see DH get ANY job, would love to see him pursue it a bit harder. I'm about ready to start sending in applications in for him, and when he gets called in for an interview he will be surprised lol! Unemployment makes it hard though, because he can easily get a job for $8 an hour, but then we need to pay for daycare, and then it's less than unemployment! He can't seem to get a job around the 12-14 dollar mark, he's beeen trying though.
Ciao my chicken people!
