Susie J- We raise fainting goats and goats and sheep are pretty similar. Especially the fainters to sheep. Click on my webpage and look at the first couple pages. There is a ton of information on it. My DH has been raising fainters now for 10 years and me only 4. So I know less then he, but last summer we talked about Jacob sheep. We would have kept them the same way we keep our goats. Hope this helps. Also like WICC mentioned they do need different minerals then the horses, but we keep a mineral bk in their pen, where the horses don't go and they eat it until it's gone. Lasts about two months, we have 25 goats. Search on the internet for what you soil quailty is and what minerals are dominate there and you may not need a mineral bk at all in the summer. I only get it for them in the winter. Now again this is for goats, but from what I've read they are almost the same animal. Good luck! Once you get a couple they are addicting.
