Evening All... Yep i agree with BCC that caring for the flock is in our hands pretty much. I would recommend The Chicken Health Handbook by Gail Damerow as a should have for use as needed. Mine is opened quite often. I'm willing to share with a symptom look up and possible problem for folks if they would like. Some symptoms are the result of breeding, and some are chronic, it all depends. Some are treated with different meds, with good results.
A clean environment, and good nutrition keep most at bay.
