Thats what I would do anyway. Besides, if he is unreasonalbe then possession is 9/10ths of the law and if you don't have a contract he can't do anything. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's been a long day.

Well as for the snow by me, I have two foot drifts infront of the front door. Drifts that are covering the windows down in the pole barn. About 4 or 5 feet. Our pool is completely filled with snow and we only left about a foot of water in it to keep the sides up.(DH was hoping it would just fall down this winter so he wouldn't have to deal with it again next year. But she still stands!) In some spots there is clear driveway and in others it's 5 feet high. What a storm! I could see how someone could get turned around in that kind of a storm. Can't wait to see it in the day light. Oh and they say it's just starting. I love where I live, but with all the open farm fields that snow really moves around. Well Im off to bed. Kids don't have school tomorrow so we are going to try to sleep in.

Edited to add: As I was typing the DOG, knocked the brownies off the counter and ate half before I could get there. Just topping off the day.

Well, as I was reading all the posts I was thinking of all kids of things I wanted to say, by the time I got here..... I forgot most of it

Anyway.... this is what I posted on FB about an hour ago.....

HOLY poop!!!! Just looked out the back! The patio door has about 6" of snow up against it, there is a foot of snow on one of the deck rails and the deck is GONE! Looked out the front and my truck bed has so much snow in it it's drifting!

In the mean time I tried to let the dog out

..... gee I hope he can hold it for a very long time!

There is at least 4 more inches of snow not counting the drifts!

Our lawn tractor/w plow is broken and the guy who normally would do our driveway.... broke his truc k

Have no clue how we'll get out of here! Guess that's just as well, buy morning we won't have a car or even a truck!

Also my youngest son (21) and his friend decided Mon. to go look at a house they want to buy...... in IOWA! So. Iowa! And the idiots thought they would come home yesterday (well Tue.) I called them and told them to stay in a motel..... well, they are young, stubborn, and still in immortal minds! He called just after midnight and said they are spending the night in a 5 star ....DITCH!

At least, in spite of their adventure, they are very smart and did pack the truck for just such an emergency!

They have sub 0 sleeping bags, food, water, candles, flashlights, extra clothes and their cell phones. They already called the sheriff dept. and let them know. I was going to start reminding him of the safety checks and he went down the list before I could say anything!

GOOD BOY!.... I taught you well!

I don't worry to much about him getting too cold.... he works the chair lift a Grand Geneva and most of the time wears less than the skiers! Sill, it will be a long cold night for them!

Well, this was fun...lol... I suppose I should TRY to sleep.... night all!​

Well, getting ready to brave the roads (not by choice). Thankgoodness I have a VERY understanding boss who just cares if I show up, he does not sweat the small stuff like being late due to weather.......

Now just waiting to hear if they delay Appleton schools so I don't have to drag the DD out in this......

Good Snow Covered Morning All! From the TV and posts I see a lot you got hammered. Talking 10-20 mph winds today, that won't help! Hope you can get out if needed. Cind glad your son was prepared that could be an even longer night. BL4 go ahead and write it down, I'll deny every word.

BCC you and him made a deal make him stick to his word! Amy sorry I scared Cartman it's not the first or last time that'll happen. Think it's going to be another good day to work on the stupid taxes. I've killed 4 voles so far, 2 in the house and 2 by the back porch eating chicken scraps, and the chickens killed one out in the driveway. Prolific lil buggers. Hope you all get plowed out!

Well we have 3-5 foot drifts around the house and the plow has pushed about 2-3 foot into the end of the driveway.
We woke up about every 3 hours to keep the snow from piling up on our car awning/ car port.

At 1 am our roads in Oregon were impassable but the plows have gone through.

One would hope that peoples bosses and sups would understand and that ALL of us, even they should stay home today.

[Buck Creek Chickens]

I've thought about it and I'm going to keep one roo and 4 hens, for my time and expense (the space I could have used for other birds). These birds are a special bird for the Asian folks. So they are worth having, plus to cross them with a duel porpose bird for a great meat bird (they are a very big game bird). the rest he's going to get, I'm washing my hands of the whole thing. I hope he brings a big box, i don't have any that big

Hey all...

I woke up to find THIS:

That's my duck pen...and those to the right are their igloos. My ducks are BURIED ALIVE!!

I can't go an shovel them out, and I'm worried for them! They are STUCK in their igloos! DH says he is going to shovel them out when he gets home. Poor babies. Water bucket is almost all the way covered, food dish is buried. We can't get out the backdoor, and our cars are completely covered in snow.

DH went into work at 2am-ish, drove in that crap. I am hoping he gets home fine. He has no clue when he will be home, and he is having a bad day you can tell

The heat in his loader broke so hes probably freezing too!

I'm not sure how much snow fell, somewhere around 20 somethin' inches.
