Got all the critters dry and comfy. Rabbits are sharing the garage with the ducks, chicks high and dry, and the new A-Frame Coop is holding up Really really well. Stay warm and safe all. It can quit anytime now....

Good thing I'm never wrong, well hardly ever. But I'm the first to admit it, after a few years. Don't really know that much about Olivers but know people that have them love them. But doesn't everyone love their tractors? Sounds like you did a good job with the hydraulics! Mine has many possibilties and I have to stop thinking about them. Currently running the hydro off the PTO via an add on pump and home made bracket. Works just like I planned it that way. Huh? whoda thought? Gotta go check for eggs again. I promise I won't come back on till tomorrow! Unless I do.

Well it finally stopped snowing up here !!!

Ha weather man wrong again !! He said it would snow until 7pm !!! Not complaining.

Horses have settled down. Think they are pooped out (in more ways than one

They are drafts and draft crosses so they don't get to excited for too long.

We sure don't love our tractor, We have a hate hate situation going on. Runs one day and doesn't even wait until the next day to not start again !!

You guys talk about watching your eggs three days before hatch day, I keep checking the PO tracking site to see where my eggs are !!! And we all know that they don't update that thing

but none the less I keep checking anyway

Elaine and I called the evening off as she is feeling as sick as I am.. I am seriously going to have see the dr. tomorrow, I called yesterday but the over the counter stuff is NOT working...

We had a bit of slush on the ground here and there this morning, it mostly melted away. And a light drizzle set in.
Super bleh...
nothing like standing out in it, feeling like poop waiting for the bus for my niece.

Hi again. Got the loader tires and then ate in Fondy. Wanted to go shopping, but DH said no. He's not much of a shopper, actually I don't know any man that is. You guys talking about tractors makes me want one. I have always wanted a 8n since I was little. It's a goofy thing for a little girl to want, but I always wanted to putt, putt down the road on one. Dh keeps telling me that I won't be able to do the things I want to do with it. I tell him I will be able to move poop with it and drive up in down the road with it making traffic slow down behind me. I can drive in a parade with it. Ah some day, I'll get my little putt putt tractor, until then I'll play with the skid loader.

Good evening! Welcome to myst (or something like that) too lazy to pull up another page...about that bread Becky (I think--or was it Amyable?) If you are converting a recipe you need to only substitute 1/3 of the flour with WW. Like BCC said if you add gluten (poison stuff!) it helps with the rising by making the flour more elastic to hold the CO2 bubbles that make it rise. Your yeast was good right?
I have FOUR pips! Two are talking like mad and starting to zip just a wee bit. I am worried about the first pip though; it has knocked a little more of the shell off but the membrane is not broken. Do you think it will suffocate? Should I go in and break the membrane with a needle or something? Leave it alone? Hey you professional hatchers--tell me what to do! (I think you will say "leave it alone") I cant believe that there are people that do this all the time! I am hatching this bunch and then letting the broodies handle it. THey dont worry so much!
DrH--you better watch out...your sassyness is going to get you in trouble!

Maybe you can do another graft this year...yup-start all over! The chicks I got from you are doing very well. My DH said they they were bigger after the first day. Now he says they have doubled in size! I will have to try and do a photo session after the dogs go to bed tonight.
OK--gotta send this so you guys can tell me what to do with that membrane!
