Good Morning All! Yup your right otonoh 8 days till hatch. But more importantly 5 days till we know how many possibles there are. With 35 eggs there should be some in there. Watch they'll all be fertile.

bl4 no sandbags just insurance, this time. Supposed to get .5-1" think there's room for about 10 more inches in the ditch before it would get bad here. Sorted all the metals for recycling [beer money] and have 3/4 of the old bathroom on the trailer to take to the dump. One small pile left to clean up. Going to call the BFF to see if he's available to do a drywall/insulation run this AM. Got the garage cleaned up enough to make more mess. The ground is still frozen in the garden which is a good thing. Brats on the barbie tonight.

good luck on the flood, we still have 4 ft of snow in parts of my yard, garden is squishy. We are having brats tonight too. Supposed to get 76 tomorrow in wausau. Should take care of the snow with the rain

Well our hatch of 1 now has 7 friends with it and it is doing great! Took it a bit to settle in with the new group and stop looking and peeping for us. We have another hatch of 16 Marans due on April 14th!

New chick Mah Hall is complete and the ladies have spent their first night in it. Lots more room and nest boxes. One last duck tractor to finish and I think we will be ready for the season. The garden has drained so I am pretty certain some cabbage, spinach and mixed greens seeds might accidentally end up in the cold frame this weekend.

Morning All... What messes Jim? Seemed like a poultry farm in the springtime. You have a nice variety of poultry. That's alot of guineas yelling at once. Ear muffs would be a good idea when working around them.

Holy crap! I would of got the same look from suzie if I would of turned around. She was worried about the peeps getting a drink. When we placed them in the brooder, they ate first....

Off to the recycle center to rid the garage of a beer bottle or two....most of them are from making bread! Then I will prolly go set up the turkey tent for the big hunt.

Bigz you are such a liar!

But that doesn't make you a bad person! Have to agree on the guineas too noisy for me. Glad your new lil ones made the trip! Jim it wears me out just lookin at all I should do. As long as your happy that's all that matters. Just took care of some of my demons. Hauled both loads of the ex-bathroom out to my personal recycle spot. The people that owned this place before me felt that anywhere other than the yard was a good spot.

Personally prefer the Alice's Restaurant method. One big pile is better than two little ones. You can get anything you want at.... Everybody sing! Pancakes!

Plus got some logs drug in for their future in the wood shed. H&R congrats on the new arrivals!

hope the rest hatch out! DA bet they like their new surroundings. So much to investigate! I walked in the garden again and think the tiller would handle it, here we go! Looked at the brooder box seems I'll be doing my metal recycling early next week cause theirs more than one or two bags of aluminum in the way. See Bigz I don't lie, much.

I had an indication that there's a fair amount of water nearby. A muskrat cruised through the front yard this morning. Lucky for him Buster wasn't out yet.

Quick update:

Still preggo, 37 weeks+.

Baby was breech, but when I went in on Friday to be given an epideral and them to try turning the baby, he had turned himself around!! So Monday I was breech, Friday I was fine! He will be the death of me I think! So I sat in Labor and Delivery, was told of all the possiblities of having that baby then and there, was worried sick, got an IV start in case of emergency c-section and bam...all for nothing! I also didn't eat since 8pm the night before (in case they had to slice me open) not even water

I was dyyying by 3pm when we finally got out of there. DH fasted with me and didn't eat anything that day, so he could feel some of my pain. What a sweetheart!

I woke up and was in nesting behavior today. I've been cleaning the house like crazy, and hubby is following me everywhere yelling at me and telling me to go lay down! lol. We are cleaning out the duck pen after all winter and whew...am I glad he told me not to help. Looks like it sucks! Got some good material for the garden though!!

We are going to Home Depot later to pick out carpet tiles for Hunter's room...but I walked in his room to hang his clothes up and it wrecked of cat pee!!

Stupid in-laws cat peed on the floor and they never cleaned it up! It got soaked into the pergo and everything. So, me and hubby are going to try and get rid of the smell. If not I fear I am going to make him rip up the pergo and put the carpet tiles down...I can't have that room smelling like that!!

Starting seeds today, got my Johnny's order so I am going to plant all my summer garden stuff. Hope everyone is well!
