ug,, who was it thats talking about the selling of eggs?? that artical doesn't talk about selling your eggs to people (not business) I know I can sell from my "farm", but can I "deliver" the eggs to the people? we're meeting at church. I have atleast 4 dz every week that go that way? if it's illegal I will deny typing it lol

DH's dad died last night, he wasn't real close to him but close enough that our kids have all meet him. he's pretty sad, he went to work today to keep his mind busy. poor thing!

Condolences to your DH RAIMNEL. Even if they were not close the loss of a parent still hurts.
DrH--maybe they will all hatch a few days late because of the temp drop. I wouldnt give up hope yet! You hear of so many that turn off the bator and then hear peeping in it cause one last chick wants to hatch. Let it for a few more days...what's it gonna hurt? If they are already dead they cant get any deader and if they are alive?...

ODrH--I think I have to PM you about coming to see your snakes! I havent had one for a long time and would love to buy one of yours. The last one I had was a hatchling Pine snake that I got from a breeder when I worked at a pet shop in Hales Corners. I had him for about 8 years I think. He got a snag on a piece of screening wire on his cage and the vet couldnt do anything for him. He developed some type of infection.. He was nearly 6 feet long when he died!
Guess I better get myself moving...loooong Monday today. Have a fantastic day everyone...and if it's not bright enough for you, let's all meet at David's coop for cocktails! Terri O

raim sorry to hear about the DH's dad even if they weren't close. There's 32 eggs in there and now a third is moving. Now afraid to get my hopes up again. Had to pass Jim's coupon along to others

Good thing I still have my Christmas lights up yet, I think I need to turn them on for Easter (the new Christmas)...... where oh where is all the global warming now????????????????????????????

Ok, I better get my butt in gear and get working. I have beetles to set up a home for, and we are getting a new tarantula so I need to set up a cricket home too.

WiC sorry the weather turned so cruddy for your move. Moving is bad enough without the weather

Thinking DH is gonna love being back up north, still getting snow... his favorite outdoor activity is snow blowing/plowing (he ain't quite right, but I love him just the same).

Having a tough morning... for some reason havin' very strong cravings for a smoke today, yesterday they were mild at best and passed quickly. But then I was busy packing, gathering stuff for goodwill and throwing junk out, and cleaning and laundry, guess I just had so much to do it kept my mind off it. Guess I could dig out the weights and work out a bit... maybe LOL

well, a half hour ago I was about to take the turkey egg out to see if there was any life in it.. just as I was about to open the door, I saw movement, so I left things as they were.. In about 15 minutes, there was a turkey in the bator.. first one for this year..
2 days late.. so DrH, never give up...eh?

I forgot who I confused, but by broken broody I mean that I've had 3 sitting in the nest boxes, and when I move them to their special broody-only quarters they freak out and won't even look at the nest box

Just had my folks and younger bros here for the weekend...too close quarters for 5 boys when they can't go outside

No more cold and wet already!

Cool Turkey BCC. We've got a ring-necked pheasant hanging out in our woods, strutted through the yard a couple times. He's back there callin' for a girlfriend every 15 minutes, it'd be neat to see pheasant babies.​
