Early Evening All... thanks for the kind words for my old white women. They have a place here on the hill as long as they live. You just gotta love the brahmas..the magestic ones for sure.
The weeds are getting attention in the gardens full time now....I'm on a mission of clean rows with a harvest large enough to share, like always...plant the most for a bountiful harvest while you can...always be prepared for the worst, and share the extra.
Keeping a close eye on one of my roo's. Sure hope the last fight with #1 didn't cost him a eye. he is a nice boy and friendly like all the buckeye roo's, as far as people go. Don't like each other to much though...really jelious males wanting everyone all the time.
Yeah CC, I have a Farmal A.. and an Oliver 55.. An old relic, but it runs well so far.. I would like to treat it to a motor overhaul, but it is too co$$$$$tly..
TO, doesn't that mechanic of yours work full time on tillers etc??
I would be fit to be tied if I had to wait as long as you already have..
I am thinking of just lightly running between the corn rows with the tiller.. Later on I will use the tractor..
we had a mud turtle when we were kids.. a rat ate it.. completely cleaned out the shell.. we drilled holes in the shell and made a flute out of it.. Not really.. LOL
Annie is not in the cooking mood.. Pizza for supper..
The screen door Menard's sent us was the wrong one.. I took it back and they told me that they couldn't get the one that I originally ordered.. thanks for wasting 3 weeks of summer Menard's !!!
We might be getting a new member here soon.. a nice couple from Wis Rapids.. they ride a Harley, DrH and CC..
BigZ, with a big garden you eat what you can and what you can't you can can..

Amy - thanks for the compliments. It took me a couple years to get to the point where I am actually comfortable using my camera and pushing the limits with it! I also do not shoot Nikon - I had one and got rid of it right away because it is bass ackwards from my Canon
How many people were at the bash? 64 signatures.... craziness!
I really think a fall bash would be super duper fun!
I count 44 on the pic, I think, then me & my DH and FT & her DH came later. Anyone else come late? Otherwise, 48, I guess.
BTW, FT was pulling your chicken legs. Evidently too many nips from Bigzio's flask.

AWWWW de is sooo cute!!
I have a gold lace frizzle polish hen, she is two but still lays very well.. BUT I feel I should sell the buff lace polish hen with her, if I were to sell them. Both lay well.
What a day! I JUST walked in the door 10 minutes ago!!!
Thankfully DH has the kiddos dishing so I am all by myself with a nice big glass of red vino..... yum. Say, how many of those cherries did you all eat on Saturday anyway????? I know they are potent, but did anybody get brave and make their own adult versions of cherry coke or cherry 7-up????
I am not looking forward to being stuck inside at work in the upcoming heat! Those cement floors sweat something awful! At least we are going on vacation soon!
The company I work for has the company picnic at the Milwaukee zoo; they hire face painters and henna tatooists, and give away tickets to ride the train, carousel, etc... take family photos- it sounds to me like a blast for the whole family! Since we will be down in the area, I thought we could take in the Renaissance Faire in Bristol the next day, then shoot down to Great America the day after that. Wear those kids out completely!!!!
Ok, I have to check email yet, scope out facebook, and possibly watch a TV show that only I want to watch before the troops return!!!
