I had ordered a BR roo from the hatchery but either they didn't send one or it died early on.

I'll let you know. Where are you locatd ??? I see NE WI, hopefully not to far from me. I'm between Crandon and Pelican Lake.

Cind, I need the topper on the truck so I can bring down the chickens !!! Got a lead on one in Minoqua but they want $475. I emailed and asked if they would take $300, we shall see.

FT, I have a couple of nice barred rock roosters out on loan.. they should be coming home soon.. I thought you had enough roos ??

Still have to figure out how/when I am going to get the Ams from you. DH needs to get hay this week but with him working he has to leave work to do it. I would go get hay but I can't load it, or should I say fast enough. The guy who sells it can throw two at a time, DH is in the horse trailer and stacks it. We get exactly 91 at time. If I were to load, well, probably get 91 but I'd be there all day !!!

So to save him the time, I'd probably have to come down myself. Just trying to get caught up around here before I leave is H3LL !!! My tooth is finally not hurting so I am going to cancel my appointment today. That will save me a road trip !!

How many hens did CC want btw?

Cute birds, nice deer! DH is saying he wants to take 5 this year! I fell over laughing and said "You are a lucky man if you get one!" Our county just opened to everything, before we were earn a buck. Now its as long as it doesn't have spots! He said if we have too much and family doesn't want any he'd donate to the food pantry. Thats my good man...

I think it was CC) We do plan on putting our house on the market in March, and thats why I have high hopes for selling it before all the nice weather runs out. Heck, It would be great if I could get in a fall garden even. I'm very optimistic (CAN'T YOU TELL?)

Then next year you all can laugh at me as I learn how to live on a farm. And complain about icky spiders, and mud on my boots. And how much poop stinks.
