Jim...If his coloring will save him from freezer camp cool. After all I like him enough to name him. But then, did that guy say those birds are $60 for hens and $130 for roos? Wow! Not eatin' birds for most of us!
Also, what size birds did you send so I know what to bring to put them in?

Why are those birds so pricey? I mean whats special about them? They lay golden eggs or somethin'? They sure aren't pretty (at least, to me.)

It's a cleaning day in my house...and I've gotten a lot of stuff done but you know how it feels when you step back and look and it doesn't look like much got done? Ugh. Been going going going since 8am. Taking a break so I don't die.

Hubby and I are going to have a romantic candlelight dinner (ha!) when we get the kids to bed (hahahaha!! aren't I funny?) I'm making tenderloin filets with some potato some way, and a veg. Maybe asparagus. Celebrating Sweetest Day a day early. I actually didn't know it was tmw until I saw it in the grocery store flyer. Woulda been news to me. Doubt DH will remember. Which is ok.

Having some wine and cuddling up with my hubbs is plenty great for me.

hi, I know two of the pictures are repeats.. I only included them for comaprison to show what the offspring of my former rooster looked like// that one is of him standing by that black tubing when he was about 5 months old.. the one with him and the hen by the feed dish is what he looked like at a year old..

i did not say my roosters were selling for 130.oo. I said that those from a certain blood line were selling for that much..
Keep him, sell him or send him back with FT.. makes no difference to me.. You mentioned that you did not especially want any roosters.. I just offered to take him..

the 3 chickens you are getting are just about like bantams, maybe a tad bigger..

Looks like I will be coming down Saturday morning. Sorry for the late notice. I am going to drop off the chickens at WCC first. I am going to see her horses and drive the ponies !!!

We switched going to the horse show until Sunday because my sister doesn't have to Babysit on Sunday. This way I don't have to drive at night on a Friday too. Dh will here to help send me off. I will bring the chickens right to you. Probably won't be until evening by the time I get down there, have fun with the ponies and maybe stop over at TO's. Then if I can get ahold of the guy I got the peahens from on the way we are gonna stop there to.
I guess I am making this a chicken weekend !!!

So sit tight, you will get your chickens. They are large fowl Ameraucanas, not huge though, just fyi.

I agree, those birds aren't very pretty to me. And even I think Guineas are adorable !!!

Yeah, I just notice that tomorrow is Sweetest Day too !!! I saw it in the grocery flyer too !!! I'm sure DH doesn't know, and tomorrow when he send me off I''m sure we'll have a few not so friendly words as usual as I tell him what to do, what not to do etc. Then I'll hit him up with Happy Sweetest Day Dear !!! Don't know what I'm going to do with him, but don't know what I would do without him either !!!!

Had so much to comment on then pushed the reply button POOF gone. So much in my head right now. I'm giddy. As of today I'm a borderline tractor hoarder. Had a ball filling in Donny's driveway and getting it level and smooth. He was impressed. So was I. L got home b4 me and I came in the house hollering for her to get me a bow from the present decoration box. She asked what for? Told her it was so I could adorn her Xmas, B'day, Anni, Valentines present for the upcoming years. Lil mule is stll here but now the Blue Mule is here to stay. L says I look wind burned. Surprise!
