Don't know what to really comment on !!!! I could give a rats butt about football too !!!! To much work trying to figure out the rules !!!! BUT I'm sorry to hear they lost since they are our Team !!

Anyway, Tatter don't shoot the pigs !!! They just might be someones pet !!!! I love my pig. He has been freeranging everyday until we get a pen for him. He has been staying around real good. Good thing there is snow so I can see that he isn't wandering off the property !! Sure wish he was neutered, then I'd get him a friend. But if they breed like rabbits I don't want any females !!! That's all I would need !!!

So Tatters where exactly is Hamburg ???? I wish I lived closer to some Amish or had someone around here that would use my horses (I have spotted drafts that drive) here on the place. I think that is so neat. DH has no desire to learn how to drive and we don't have anyone close by to teach him if we did.

Would your Amish neighbors keep a horse at their place for you ?

I love that avatar picture. Do they mind you using it? I know they don't like their picture taken, or at least they didn't like it in the past.

Need to find my egg candler light bulbs, mine burnt out and I can't candle my silkie and duck eggs !!! Geez, wish I would put things in their place when I get them home or get done using them !!!!

The sad part is when I run across things I always think I will remember where I saw something, think I could remember where !!! H3LL no !!!

As to the pigs, yes, that is what we are figuring...escapee pigs or pets. We'll wait a year and see if there are any more sightings and reports. These two pigs were in heavy thick woodland, so its anyone's guess as to what they were doing there.

The buggy that I built, was initially one of their buggies that was used as a minature hay wagon. I repaiired it and out of the generosity of my Amish friends, they gave it to me when I had it done. They liked my work so much that I do buggy repairs for them as long as it doesn't require blacksmith work. The Avatar is not from my amish friends. I collect amish photography and it was the only photo I had that fit for an avatar. I also belong to a sight called amishliving.com if that gives you any idea how much the Amish have an influence on me. I have a few photos of my Amish friends, but not many in the way of facial shots. Osso the elder let me take his photo. Sadie the youngest was afraid of the camera and ran away when I was trying to capture her image

The blue words popped up a while ago. I think it is an advertisement agency paying BYC to blue their buzz words. Then you click on the thingy on the word and get more info. Anyway thats what my crazy brain came up with.!

Evening folks! This was posted on Facebook tonight, and I thought some of you might enjoy it. Remember my friend Casey who was injured in the tree accident? He has been at Craig Hospital in Denver for the last couple months, doing rehab, but he and his wife are coming home to Stevens Point this week. He's doing so good, has kept a can-do attitude and pushes himself to the max. So proud of him!

Yea, most of the woman on here are workers! Sure, some of us have physical limitations, but we try and do as much as we can. Sometimes things just get done a little "different" LOL(at least FT hasn't "lost" her leg lately

Tiki... I hear ya on the garden thing! Where we lived before we bought this house, I had a nice garden near the house. Then the place got sold and the new landlord (who moved in above us) was a landscaper and decided that my garden didn't look good there and he wanted to grade the whole yard anyway. He said he would put in a flower garden around the house and dig me a new vegetable garden. Never happen

Well, here's my apparatus.... looks like I broke my metacarpals of my index finger... It happen a few days ago but you know how it goes...say ow and get on with what you were doing. Well, it kept hurting and you can feel a bit of a gap

Not having insurance, but having an ex-corpsmen for a DH.... he fixed it for me!

Guess he's good for something!
