I didn't know they were here either..

I have had small sore ereas, or itchey bumps that I suspected were spider bites.. or something, I don't know what..

My mother I thought was completely fearless of anything, natural or supernatural, until she confessed when she was in her late eighties, was petrified of spiders.. By then, she was too old, and I was old enough to not try a prank on her..

It's Christmas eve, no one is stirring but Tatters. I hope you all are having one fan-dangled Christmas eve. May you all have a blessed Christmas eve and Christmas day filled with smiles, laughter, good cheer and love.

Same to you Tatters, hope you have a good Christmas, we are just sitting down for a light supper, church ran a little long tonight

presents for the kids are wrapped and under the tree with instructions that they can look but not touch!!!

Merry Christmas!!

For the snow lovers among us......

When I was a kid I used to hold the presents, put them to my ear, feel them, and shake them. I forgot how excited the kids get at this time of year.

The chickens got suet for an early present this morning. Tomorrow I guess they are going to get apples and a pumpkin popsicle for everyone.

I am a kid at Christmas...yes, 44 and still snoop the presents when I can...aren't I terrible? Don't anyone answer that! I got mostly what I needed. Books, some winter farm clothing (am not going to be cold till I turn 80) even got a couple surprises and yes, I balk when I get stupid clothes LOL!!!

Hi!
I decided I'M not wrapping anything... Just can't do it!

I bagged some things and all that's left is the little gifts for the grandkids. DH can't wrap worth sh!t and DS1 has issues now too. So, as soon as my daughter comes she gets elected to do that. I'll take the kids to see the chickens while she wraps. I got some last minute things to do while I wait to turn on the oven for the giant ham at 3:30 am! Then BED!

Tatters.... Nothing like warm clothes! My youngest works at a ski hill, his first year we loaded him up with warm clothes. He loves his Carharts! Expensive but worth it. I think I grew out of "snooping" presents when I was 10! LOL

tiki.... That's enough snow!

Night!

Ghost get better! I am going to side with your Doc on this one and say staph infection, recluse bites tend to become necrotic and they are not common at all in this state.

Don't look if you have a queasy stomach!

Here is a more official site on the location of the spider, and other poisonous spiders in the MN/WI area. The last spider on the site sounds promising.

Apparently MRSA infections have also been misidentified as spider bites.

Ok enough on spiders! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! The kids were great and let me sleep in until 7!!!! ( I love having older kids) Managed to get most of my baking done, and the whole family is coming over for Christmas dinner later today!

Everyone enjoy the Holiday and this lovely dusting of snow that makes everything look so beautiful! Be safe as well!

good MERRY CHRISTMAS morning

we did our get together thing last night at SIL house.. was a lot of fun and we were home by 11PM .. today there is nothing planned.. Annie and I had our coffee quietly together.. Ken and Mom are still in bed.. It is like having kids in the house again..
Shhhh , don't wake them up..

we are down to about 1 egg per day from the chickens.. I am going to have to figure out a way to divide the birds into different coops.. then I can keep the chickens locked in all day by themselves.. I think their running around outside in the snow can't be good for egg production..

the dog is supposed to be delivered today.. If they can entice it into the truck..

I will share more later. Not sure if I am going to drive back home today or tomorrow.

In the mean time I would like to say what a small world this is.
Amyable I was talking with my nieces husband and mentioned to him about your friend Casey, because Rob is an urban forester. He said I think I might know the guy you're telling me about. I was thinking word sure gets around in the forester business, then I told him his name and he said he went to high school with him. Casey was a year ahead of him. Plus Rob and my Niece Kristin went to UWSP.

Watched the Utube video again and keeping him and his family in my prayers.

Oh and Bigzio, now we gotta have a 2012 bash !!! I bought something for the white elephant gift. I love it and I think someone else would love to have it too !!

Jim, be prepared for a handful with that new dog. They are very stuborn minded, but great dogs. At least the Pyrenees are. Have a mind of their own. Being so big doesn't make it any easier to train (hold back !!! LOL) Sure not I miss my dogs !!! Big fluffy butts !!

Ok, might just take another nap. Still pooped out from all the driving and eating !!!! New Years Resolution here I come !!!
