Good afternoon! I was going to say Good Morning but I see it is already late! My girls had buggy walnuts for Christmas...nothing but the best! DrH was here to get his eggs really early this morning...the kids werent even up! So we talked for a bit and then they were gone. DH said it was kinda like when my folks come to visit!
The kids liked their gifts. THey are playing with DD25s Keuring coffee machine now. The monkey bread was not risen enough so it was kind of hard they said...the egg strata was delish! The chickens came through and I picked 14 eggs at 9:30 or so...the bloody Mary's were excellent too. DrH you got a compliment on your pickle recipe from my son! We had pickled brussels sprouts, quail eggs, cauliflower and pickles in them...MMMM!
I am wearing my Alpaca socks...so warm! THey were actually for my birthday but DD25 wanted to put something in my stocking. They got me a painting of my horse and dd19s horse (now both deceased) made by a 4Her that is a very good artist. It might be a watercolor? It is very nice. My son got me a new popcorn popper! Yeah...now I can get going on the 50# of popcorn DH brought home last month!

Nice to hear everyone had a nice Christmas so far...we are relaxing and I am about to get the roast out and put the rub on ans get it in the oven...I think I have an acid stomach from too much coffee, orange juice and oranges...maybe I need a nap?

Still sorry for wakin up Derrick with the phone! Guess I'm an up with the chickens person. After the coffee kicks in I gotta move! Kinda thought 8:45 wasn't so early. Sorry!!!!

Can't thank you enough for all the eggs! Hope it's a good hatch!

If memory serves I should leave them untill to tomorrow before starting the bator to settle after riding around the state in the car? Hope you all had a great xmas! We have one more tomorrow and it's over for another year. Was nice to see everyone but it was nice to get home too! Had some PO'd animals waiting for us.

Merry Christmas/Packer Sunday To All. Had a great Chritmas today at Jennies house. She was so excited to have it at her house this year! The food was great and the family was fun to be around.

What did you find FT? We won't tell anyone.

I'm still collecting 5 or 6 eggs daily. That's not to bad, however we prolly only collect one or two blue ones per doz now...seems like they are slacking more than some. The young Buckeyes seem to be the most consistant. Some of the older Bucks are still molting. Good thing it's not brutally cold out.

Getting ready for da Bears....hope we can lock up home field through the playoffs tonight. GO PACK

Hey! Merry Merry! I cant believe I talked to DrH and he is the next one to post....then it's me again! (and it's been all day too) Everyone must be having a fantastic Christmas....no internet surfing for you.

DH just checked out my computer for Trojans and viruses and there were a bunch...the only thing I go on is BYC, my email and a letterboxing site that is very serious about stuff like that; has anyone else found many viruses from this site? As soon as I came on after he installed yet another protection program something came up about the millionth user or something...I had only clicked on BYC. Anyone else having any issues? Just wondering cause I have had some!
Gotta turn the oven back on...prime rib is in my future...Terri O

You beat me Brent...yes the Packer game is on here right now...well all the pre-sh*t anyway...LOL--DH is crazy! We were watching something and he about had a FIT that we didnt have the pre-stuff on! Oh brother...bad enough that the game lasts 3 or 4 hours! GEEZ! The prime is starting to smell really good! All the fam is here...so unusual! OK BETTER GO! GO Pack!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!
We had a great day today! The Pupsters had so much fun when we unwrapped their gifts this morning! Santa was very good to them! We should be good in the treat department for quite awhile! The dogs even got some toys in their stockings! The cats got some treats as did the bunnies and the Girls got meal worms. I got a home herbal medicinal type book for dogs and cats from DH and the dog and Santa brought me the new How to Train Your Dragon DVD set. DH got a game processing kit and underware. LOL!
After that we had Christmas dinner with smoked turkey with corn, smashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and crescent rolls. Even the dogs and cats got a little turkey in their dinner bowls!

I made pecan pie bread pudding with rum sauce today. I think I ate way too much of it! And I broke our truck hauling 2000 pounds of feed in the box. We had to put it in the ditch because the tractor couldn't lift the bag high enough to get it in the truck box. On the way home the spedometer was off by 35mph and now the truck pulls hard to the left. The sad part is I split it with 2 other people for what I paid for it. I guess they got the good deal. I should have just took 1000lbs for myself. What was I thinking?

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time today. I also had a fine day, got together with family, and relaxed a lot. Santa was good to me. I recieved some venison hamburgers and steaks and a gift certificate for tons of seeds. Very useful things, just what I like. Also got a beautiful pair of organic wool socks that are so so soft. ,,,and cookies. yumm yumm

TerriO I had an older computer a few years back that had been completely wiped clean and had new operating progams put on it. Worked like a charm and the only place I visited was BYC and yes it did get a lot of viruses. I have also heard this from at least one other person. I suppose it is ok if a person can consistently 'clean' or 'wipe' or whatever they do for viruses. This is one of my most visited sites so I will just live with it, but I have noticed my computer has slowed down the last few months. A friend of mine's spouse uses his computer for some school things as he is a teacher at a local school. So when she came on here and got some viruses , they had to do a lot of work to restore their computer and she will not visit this site anymore. She primarily just does email.

We posted at the same time BBP. Sorry to hear about your truck. What an expensive experience. Do you bake that pudding in a tin can? Which reminds me I better get that recipe out for some pudding that I bake in a tin can and then make a scrumptious sauce to drizzle over the top. yumm

We have had 3 funerals in the family since late Oct.
