I sold 11 quail today..I even sold the only white one.. the guy who bought them will do a better job of breeding than I would have.. I would not have sold it to anybody else..

have a pipped goose egg.. It is taking a long rest right now,, It is due later today..

I just went out and brought the waterer in from the coop.. It seems warmer outside.. there is no wind, that makes a difference..

a couple of geese and the dog (Nora) are sharing the hay bed in the lean-to.. I did not take her for a walk today.. too d@mn cold for me.. she did get to spend a little time in the house.. she is a lot less nervous as the days go by..

got another goose egg to set.. I have 4 to go into the bator.. I lost count, but I know we are getting nearer 56..

I caught one of the Thai hens eating eggs in a nest.. and I know for a fact that it was not broken when she started eating it.. No wonder the egg count is down..

going to bed now.. G'nite....... jiminwisc.........

I was thinking about the food waste and thought what about putting some 3/4" wire over it? Pellets work the best for me. Think it was CC or FT that mentioned Majkowski. The girls where I used to work were going to set me up a date with his sister. But she didn't like facial hair.

Then L came along, glad I didn't shave! Ya like that was gonna happen. Lots of ends and odds today. Plus contemplating painting the ceiling in the bedroom. That's right I said contemplating.

And where did you hear that you cant change them any more? (who was that?) I have one in mind but I dont have it uploaded yet so it will have to wait until later in the day when I have more time.

Hey Dr H... Majkowski's family is really great! He is married to my Uncles niece on the other side of the family but they come to all the family gatherings and Don is great. Poor guy has had lots of knee problems though.

Well it is warming up so will be doing some coop chores tomorrow with the upcoming nice weather. Just need to take the tree and decor down from the holidays now that we are all getting over our sinus infections here. They say they are not contagious but I am starting to wonder.
