How do you handle them wanting to look them over without them geting lose?

What I do Angie is transport them in a dog kennel. Then you just have to open the door and reach in and grab them by the legs. Easy to flip them up and set the breast bone on your hand. Not much they can do from there but sit still! Good luck--DONT let go!

So Good morning! Not sure I like this too much either DrH--it is very like several of the other forums I visit...I will reserve final judgement until I explore a bit more. Nifty had a nice tutorial that I found on FB yesterday. I just found out that my Firefox spell check does not work on here now...It wants me to paste into a new window? Maybe I need to update it.

Well today is the BIG day! I am officially going into my second half-century...according to DH--he has such a way with words...*sigh* I dont know what I am going to do today...DD19 said we should go on a horse ride...I was kind of thinking about going to Madison and poking around in a few stores. OTOH--maybe I will just sit here all day and look at BYC...and then take a nap....yeah that's it!

Well, thinking I will see if I can find some breakfast...the girls made pancakes and it stinks like them in here...dont care for that smell at all!
I have baby finches! They fledged yesterday...so cute! I think 3 made it--only one is out now...I just love their little black beaks...not if I could just have the same luck with the Yellow napes! She laid 3 eggs and sat last year but non were fertile. I know they have raised some in the past...unless the lady was pulling my leg? WOnder where I stashed their nest box? Maybe that is what I will do today...after I take down the laundry from yesterday.

DH says a storm warning for here tonight....think winter is going to finally arrive? Have a fantastic day everyone! Terri O--who is older today

So one of the people taking my roo's is going to drive up here so she can pick it out...told her I would just give him to her and help with gas as I reallllly want him to go to a good home and she sounds fantastic. And this way, she can pick out which one she wants.

That leaves me driving a half hour to deliver the other roo. This person didnt sound as concerned about looking him over....just wants a roo for her 9 BR hens...and she reassured me he would be a pet only.

With all that said, I was crouching down talking with my "girls" this morning and felt someone hit my back!!! I think its my roo that Im keeping. ARGH!!! Wondering if I should re home him as well and jsut have hens....think things would be a little calmer!! But my main roo Dotty (Still cant get used to calling him Donny) has been my daughters favorite.

And only a few left to do inside. The kids are out and about enjoying the warm weather and sun. Gonna be awhile before they get this again I think. I resubscribed think that will solve the E mail issue. Got 2 eggs today an slw and a Btwo
