Yep...nothing exciting, well Sissy the banty turken seems to be ill, off feed and sleeping all the time

Have her in my BR so I can keep an eye on her.
Her breathing sounds OK, no runny nose, her eyes did foam a bit once but not anymore. Croop seems empty, Not egg bound but dose seem a bruised around the vent. I wounder if one of the roos hurt her.

Venison stew for supper tomorrow.

Oh no, I hope she is going to be ok. Speaking of mites and lice did you look her over for lice? Lice and Mites will make a bird appear ill by just weakening them.
I love turkens and showgirls ! Sunny boy ate pizza with us tonight !! He begs more then Butt Dog.

Yea, I looked her over real well... she seems to have dry, flaky skin... yes, it is skin and they are flakes. I didn't realize how few feathers she has. It seems not just her neck is naked... under her wings and some of her chest and around the vent. Doesn't even look like there ever were feathers there! I know the roos were after her. and they are all standard size. If she gets better I don't think she's going back in the big coop. I'll get her a couple of "little " friends to keep her company and make another place for her. I made her drink some water with antibiotics and vitamins but she just wants to sleep. Sure hope she gets better!

Good Morning Everyone! TO WHAT'S THE BLUE/SILVER ONE? I wanna know too! FT your right it's been years and hope it stays that way! Everyones meals sound delish! More goodies from the garden eh Bigz! Already worried about the # of dills left seems I've been hittin em pretty hard lately.

Have been helping the one chick left in the bator. Using very warm water to soak the remaining shell off. Seems to be working. Strong lil bugger to make it this far! Think today will tell if it will make it. Course have been thinking that for days. -5 here haven't hit bottom for the week yet. Might get Jim back today.

Hope so! So much more and it's gone.

Kristip I dunno. I click on "insert photo" , "browse" click on the pic I want and click submit. Wish I had a digital cam corder to submit a vid. Probably a good thing I don't!

are you trying to post pics from your computer? do what DrH said, click the add or upload picture ^ up there. click on browse click on the pic you want and hit submit

OR from your album? go to you album and either RIGHT click and hit copy then paste in your post OR highlight the picture and right click on it and paste it into you post.

this might sound like a dumb question DrH but what are you taking pictures with? a digital camera? they have video recorders on them?! (if it's not OLD) maybe your phone? it MAY have video too?
just don't make the video to long lol

Good morning everyone! Darn chilly out there today for sure!. I need to take a drive down to the mill today to pick up that feed. Linda dont feel like going anywhere though. My back is killing me! I think I stressed it bu lifting those sheep and goats over the fence. Brats! They all got out yesterday too and were running amok in the barn. Got two back where they belong but I wasn't going to chase the black sheep all around to put her back in the dark...I am going to try putting new pics in my album since I finally FOUND the camera again~! It was on the window in the bathroom....weird--I swear the thing has legs.
FT that video was funny...think she woulda read the directions BEFORE they started! LOL! Then the house chicken caught my eye and I watched that...was going to post it--and you already had! WHo was it that we were thinking alike lately?

Morning All!!
I have been a bad person not keeping up and posting here! Since DH is in Cali visiting his mom, I've been cleaning out his office (yuck) and reorganizing his desk. Hehehe!! I'm finally done with that so now I can keep up here!
Bubba the Barbarian's surgery went really well but he took a long time to get over the anesthesia. I though I would have to take him back to the vet the next day but I decided to give him a little more time to recover and I'm glad I did. By that afternoon he was back to his normal pesty self and had been making up for lost time ever since. He and Ichabod took out one of my lamps. *sigh*

Super Glue is getting slowly more and more crankie in her broodiness. She is something else that hen. I was feeding and watering the rabbits minding my own business and she decided that I needed to be "attacked" since I apparently was an intruder near her nest. I told her to knock it off or she would be dinner. She just ran back to her nest, hunkered in and gave me Stink Eye. She will be a terrific mom.
DH is going to hopefully

be bringing back some fertile eggs from his friends Aseels in Cali. He also will see about getting some Modern Game bantam eggs! That would be so cool! I will have to wait and see what I can get.
If he can't get any eggs from Cali, I'll have to beg some from here! LOL!

The nest boxes go into the rabbit cages today! In one more week we will see what we have in kits. This is the first litters for the girls so it will be interesting to say the least!

Other then that, I skimmed through the posts to kind of catch up and I don't remember much! Sorry!
However, those pics DrH took of the babies are sure cute and it was nice to see that Hurley checked in. Board exams? That sounds exciting!!

Well, I've got to go but another load of laundry in the wash and dryer. Yeah....laundry....at least it beats cleaning DH's mess of an office.....
