I did splint Jasmine's foot... may have to do a better job with it tomorrow. I think she broke it about the place I broke my hand...

Good morning everyone. Mazojoe your DD is very cute. And with that I gotta show off my kids with their chicks they picked out last night So far no more dead birds, so I'll be calling Meyer today to update them so I can get a credit. I have the chicks on paper towel right now and changing it 3 times a day. I think I am going to pick up some bedding while I'm out shopping today, but should I until their a week old before changing or can I do it now?

Remington chose what we think is the Barred Rock, he originally ordered the White Cochin but he changed his mind. lol


Somer ordered the Easter Egger, and let me tell you, this thing is so cool. When we walk into the room it comes up to the side of the cage and when we put our hand in the cage it comes right to it.


Autumn picked out a Partridge Silkie, well she calls it a baby chickmunk chickie lol ---- oh dont mind the white stuff on her face she got ahold of some white out and I couldnt get all of it off lol

it'll melt. CC Donny's wife isn't the sharpest hook in the tackle box. She got a job at Wally World and started listening to the women there. She's currently living with one that's also getting a divorce. She's gonna find out that it isn't greener on the other side. Just feel so bad for him he's gonna have to come up with 70k to pay the stupid B off!

Have been leaving the coop door open the last couple of days to acclimate the chicks think next week their going to lose their heat lamp and cardboard. Blackie is the friendliest lil poop head. And the most inquisitive she comes to the appartment door and wants out when I go in and flys up on my leg when I sit in there. She's so cute with her lil muff face! Went out to close up last night and did my usual head count, missing one PR.... Turned around and there was Goldie the Naughty standing in the window on my work bench. Betting I didn't see her when I closed up the garage because she was in the top of my tool box. She likes doing that and standing perfectly still and quiet when I come in. Like oh crap I'm not supposed to be up here. AGAIN! Her and Btwo pal around and get into everything. SNOTS! So many posts so little remembered

Someone in Somerset has a pygmy buckling with bowed legs that will need splints and to be bottle fed. My Facebook friends have decided I would be a good candidate to take this little guy on. The only problem is, I go on vacation in 3 weeks. He wont be weaned by then. Also, I don't like pygmy goats. I'm more of a dairy goat kind of person. If anyone close by is looking, he is available.

Apyl- nice pics of chicks and kids...you have to show off kids every so often...pics of 3 different chicks and knowing there are more different kinds in the brooder, now that is just some over the top showing off! lol...the one Remington (great name) I would say is definitely a BR. I use to have a **** eating grin on my face like the one hes got on all the time, so hear is my word of warning, watch out! JK

I couldn't get the Guineas to stand still long enough for pics of them, Although I hear the murmurs on hear that some of you dont even care for pics of Guinea chicks, hmmmmm thanks everyone for the nice comments.

I am now impatiently waiting for my call from the feed store to see if my Blue Andalusians came in this morning! I should know by 10 and then it will be pretty hard to be here at work! Can you say early day? I know I can, I just got done with inventory and need more of a break than what BYC gives me every so often!
