Caught a snapping turtle yesterday...I can't believe all the turtles out already. Last year if I remember correctly, I was still breaking off 5" or 6" shelf ice of the sides of the creek bank to make beaver sets!

What are you going to do with the turtle ? I love turtles. Don't have any but I always rescue them when theya re crossing the road !!!

You can modify your Hova turner by removing every other tray.. then take some welded mesh wire and form troughs for the goose eggs,, then they will lie on their sides and you can get about 4 in each trough.. I used the 1/4 " mesh.. hold them onto the trays with tiny bolts and nuts..

no no no... I work with a guy who wears a kilt most days and have to control my gag reflex... sorry... doesnt do it for me... just saying!! lol

Wishing I was outside rather than at my desk right now. Want to be visiting my new chickies and staring at the incubator, willing those chicks to hatch. We still have a week and a half, but I would like them now please!!! Officially hitting wacky now. Think I need to run to Target for lunch.
