Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Morning all! Crazy already today for sure...a ton of phone calls before 9AM! Dont folks know that on Monday I catch up with stuff and relish the quietness of my house? THe nerve! LOL!
SO now it is time for me to head out and I just finished reading on here...oh well...TOmmy and Tina have had an egg hatch! It is the cutest little beast! It was glued in the egg though so a foot is turned funny. I think I will stick the toes down on a little "shoe" and see if they can be straightened out. I will take a pic later.
H&R or Carol--any youngish (6 months or so) birds you want to dispose of? I have a Hmong family from Milwaukee that is looking for some young birds. AllI have in the young bunch are days old! Still a bit small....let me know if you have a line on any.

I took this pick the other day of MXN's daughter holding a chick. I'll let her post the one of Cloe's face if she wants...she is one adorable little girl with the personality to match!

And I just had to take a pic of my fish dinner from Friday...

This is what we like to call "the original white meal" but man was it ever good! OK--gotta run...have a fantastic day...the sun looks like it is trying hard to come out...good thing, the neighbors are going to start to wonder just how many "rinses" my laundry needs!

MLH... we will have to get together and chat I think! I have read some but not all of those authors so will check it out. You will love Sharon Shinn then... has two great series and some solo books. Laurell K Hamilton? So many.

Terri... Carol might still have some bigger birds, but I dont know which ones she is keeping or not, but we have some 4-6 week old roos that we know of lol. Our foolish hatch was mostly roos!
May have some sex link hens coming my way if anyone in Madison is needing any... A friend of mine is a science teacher at middle school and her dad has a farm that he gives her eggs from. He breeds the ones for her with sex link so she can do genetics with her class. His youngest chicks are going to be too old to integrate these chicks with and they are due to hatch any day. I told her if she cant find homes with her students to send them our way and we can find some homes.

Snotty, isn't she????

Another avid reader right here!!! I commute an hr and 15 mins each way to work-my SO drives... Any of you use Kindles? or any e readers? I also love Amanda Hockings books...have to say one of my fav authors so far is John Locke!! They need to make his books into movies (think he may be e books only?)

BBP: This will sound funny but YOU MAKE THE CUTEST BABIES!!!! lol That is adorable!!! What cross are the lil white and black bantys you have (Angel and..?)? That was a silkie/cochin and (something) wasnt it?

OMG that chick is adorable............awwwwwwwwwww
So I was thinking today about our newby who was asking about eggs chickens, sizes best kind to have ect. and well I had a mix up today not realizing my Delaware hens are now laying a huge egg almost the same color and size as my BSL so I took a picture for Jim, and well thought I post it for the new guy to have some comparison in egg size, will take you pictures of the girls too if you want to see what they look like............ so here it is..

BSL hen is a year old, the BR and Dels are just 11 months............ decided to post the girls pictures for Dan..I think he is the one who was asking talking about different chickens
