Well just came in for lunch and a breather....got the lawn mowed and some of the garage swept and rearranged to fit the lawn mower and till in the garage better. Have the hatches all battened down for the storm....the wind is picking up here.
If I have the gumption after lunch to rake out the flower bed that my perfect DH just tilled the rest of for me, then I'll try to get that done before the rain and then he'll till the bed again and it will be ready to plant. I wish I could till, but the tiller and I really don't like each other so I have to wait for him to get time to till for me. That's ok though...At least he doesn't mind...

Good Late Morning All! Vic so so sorry to hear about your friend!

I've lost a few myself. Had a great time at the Bash, wish we could have spent the night from the stories I heard, and the carnage on Sat. morning.

Thanks to everyone that helped out and did all the work! It was so great as to the number of newer people that showed up! You all fit right in with the rest of us freaks!!!! That made me chuckle out loud. It was great to put faces to names except for mxmarg, hair color was all wrong! Very disturbing. My god Amyable Cartman is still the cutest little man!

I'm hoping WCc will tell the story of her very eventful trip! I felt so sorry for her but laughed my butt off at the same time. It's better when it happens to someone else. Hope you heal up quickly! Dang ditch chickens.

Carol you have to admit it had to be funny from an outsiders POV. MLH thanks for the hug! But you caught me off guard. Next time will be better I promise. Thank the DH for all his donations that was so good of him! The new addition of the raffle was a big hit and TO did a great job as the grand marshal for the white elephant thingy. Can't believe that old beer case was such a hit? Probably worth millions! The only thing that I didn't like about it was that it was empty. Missed seeing Bl4, sadly fordmommy, Beckyschicks, and BuckCreekChickens were no shows.

Along with so many other great people! To all of you that were there and all who were missiing I want you all to know that you all have a special place in my heart and life! Buncha sick bassfeces! FT I'll get to you later when I calm down!

Dr. HaHa, how lovely! Is she still a cuddlebug? I'm thinking everyone who went to the bash will come home and try to "Tommy-ize" one of their own chickens! Tommy was the love-y chicken of the bash! I think he made it onto either everyone's shoulder or lap at the event or at least got a few pets from each person! The best was when CC's hubby was tooling around on CC's motorized scooter with Tommy perched on one knee.

SO FUNNY!

To the folks who couldn't make it, you were missed! I thought of everyone who couldn't be there several times and wished I could be meeting you guys in person too!

On the road home I realized there were several folks who I meant to give a hug to and several that I didn't get to chat up as much as I would've liked! Thanks for the lovely 2 days everyone! What a blast! How did I not take any pix? Too busy knitting I guess! I got a lot done on Chloe's future skirt!!!!!

The 5year old has named our Delaware, "Daisy". I think it fits! But if Dais turns out to have the Cato Fong tendencies that Carol told me about (Cato Fong, Inspector Clouseau's manservant who's instructed to attack Clouseau unexpectedly, to keep Clouseau's combat skills and vigilance sharp) it'll be a must to call her Cato. Carol said she may ambush with friendly intent.

And here's our Production Red whom I have forbade my girl to name after another Barbie doll character. I'm going to see which name Red settles into because I keep wanting to call Finn "Tina Louise" for some reason so I'll wait to see what named rolls of my tongue the easiest with her. hmmmmmm..... come to think of it, The Tina Louise was a redhead!
We got home at dusk last night so I waited til it got dark and put them in with the three others. I heard that someone else did it that way. So I thought what the heck!

BabyLady, my Lavendar soap smells SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!! Thanks so so so much!!!

My daughter called last night, wondering when I was coming home! She said that she was trying to help dad understand what he had to do! I told her that she had to trust that he was capable..he'd do it his way and not mine...but he'd get everything done. Her response back to me after hearing this was..."or we will die"

We have finally limped home from the bash...... I think those cherries just help people to take the edge off.

I don't think any of the chicken cheeseheads had an edge to take off! Seriously! Jim aside, what edge?!

I thought we were already very well edge-free both times you came BL!!!
