Good evening! Frenchie--I read almost youe entire post to my DH...and get this; he seemed to listen! Maybe you want him up there too? LOL! Glad you all enjoyed the pics...I sure wish I would have taken more of them. I did, however take a few today when DD20 and I took a ride at McCarthey park near H&R and Jim's sister:

We had a really nice time! I hope we can get lots more rides in this summer.

So I talked to a new friend I met at a rummage sale this past week...we are going to try and meet for a ride this weekend...she seems like a really nice person...I invited her to come on here but she doesnt have a computer....but she knows how to weld!

Oh yes....maybe a new best friend....LOL!

OK I need to go out and close doors and such...talk tomorrow--sweet dreams all! Terri O

Hey TO, if you go riding this weekend.. either near your house OR at Mcarthy Park.. let me know I can trailer in with Pride or Indi. So is Commander and DD's horse now best friends since they trailered together?? LOL
I can't come today, I haven't even checked my phone messages.
I am gleaning hay off a hay field for my horses. Joan my barn owner's hay baler is NOT putting the twine on correctly so for every bale she took off, a good 1/4 of them is lying in the field.
The hay needs to get off so it doesn't kill they hay underneath. AND she needs to have that field fertilized.
I was out till 9pm yesterday loading a flat bed trailer (snow mobile type) and the back of my truck with hay, I have a ton more to do before it gets hot.

Jim would have had a real good time with this guy I visited yeasterday. He asked me to come to his house and candle his eggs. He also wanted me to identify his call duck colors. His eggs were 5 days along. The first 3 days the temp was at 110 (with the eggs in) then he got it regulated to 99.5. The humidity was 80%,.

Duck pics are cute but wow are they cute in person. Even with all the f-ups I had with the incubator this round ( I really care not to mention, cause I am kinda embarrassed!) we managed to hatch 8 of 12 Pekings and there quite a few Muscovy's going strong. I haven't candled the quail eggs and wondering if it was actually possible? Or do I just let them run there course?

Morning All!!
Just thought I'd get caught up and checked in while I eat my blueberry waffle and drink huge mug #2 of coffee.Yum... coffee....
Anyway, Ben spent the night in the basement since he now crows with a little more rythum (sp). He will be put out a little later to hang with the girls. I really need to sex up a cage for him....

Still have to feed and water the chickerdoodles and bunnies....then shower and off to the vet with Frederick in tow. Oh yes, and feed, water , and man handle little baby fuzz butts. The little Chocolate colored looking EE is super smart. I was doling out the mealies yesterday to do some quality meal worm therapy. She was the first to come over a take one from my fingers. Eventually the majority took some and much chasing and worm tugging ensued! However, the little EE figured out right quick that the worms came from the white container. Mom also was prone to stirring up the worms and if one little EE chick just happened to stake out a position next to said white container, then that little EE chick scored Big Time!! It was so cute!! She even would look up at me as if to say "Hello! Stir!!!" LOL!! I want to name her but Cocoa is the only name that come to mind right now but H&R has a rabbit named Coco...so I'd get all confused! LOL!!
I'm thinking Hersey but I have no idea what color she will be. She is a very rich chocolate brown or maybe sable? I might have to wait until she feathers some to name her...

Well, I'd best get going...

MJ- I don't candle quail eggs when I incubate them. Mostly because they are too small for mt candler and depending on the breed the eggs are too dark.

We're being invaded Sun by L's DD, grand baby boy, Gdaughter, step G'son, and her SIL. The G'daughter [7] has been here before [I let her drive the tractor] and is telling the step G'son how she knows everything about our place and he's gonna have to listen to her about the rules.

I love kids! Especially when they go home. After I'm done playing with them.

Bf4me have a hard time believing that your that old! Woulda guessed around 30. How's that for suckin up? Course my eyes aren't what they used to be.

BFF just called was gonna get the B'room painted but he wants me to disc his food plot up out back. Lets see paint the B'room or play with the tractor. bbl

the day started out not so good.. It is improving as it goes along.. I poured a cuppa and came down to be on the puter.. got all set, took a sip and the coffee was COLD>> WTH ?? Annie was up a good hour, and she nuked a cuppa for herself, but failed to tell me it was COLD ? she made a fresh pot and brought a cup down for me, so I like her again..

another turkey hatched and another one on the way..
I really have to set up a brand new brooder just for turkeys..

Tried to contact the nephew who said "call me anytime".. yeah, right..

As usual, when I am going to or am doing something, Annie comes along with an alternate project..I am learning how to ignore those interruptions.. she: "It's going to rain later on,,are you going to go get some feed ?" Me: "NO, I am planting the potatoes.. I can pick up feed in the rain.."

well, I better get going or all I will get done is to pick up feed in the rain..

I had a long and smart @ss post and the 3yr old just effed with my iPad and lost it! The same 3 yr old who is knocking over chairs at the moment because I yelled at him about it. The same 3 yr old who flooded my bathroom last night, which then leaked into my basement in a major way. GGGRRRRRRRR fricken 3 yr olds!
