Yep Rami... pain sucks! Chances are if you got the plates out it would reduce the frequency and maybe intensity of the pain, but I doubt it would all go away.

TO... I agree, pets should be "fixed"! Just wish it was cheaper to have done.

All our pets are fixed except Isis, she was an "oops" , kept waiting for her to grow! As soon as the kids are weened she's going in!

we got a nice rain out of this storm.. I watched it slide by to the North of us.. it is still raining here.

checked my records.. have 49 guineas due today.. so far about a dozen are in the TV..I had a call from a guy .. he wants to come tomorrow and look at the pups..

Annie and I couldn't get together to relocate the chicks today.. will try to do it tomorrow..

got a white egg from that leghorn.. it looks extra white next to all the brown ones..

We have flash flood warnings going. 2-4 inches already (depending on area) with another possible 2 inches to come. The geese are having a ball. Everywhere you look there are pools of water. Everyone else looks like a drowned rat.

Jim... watch the chickens and that 1 white egg. Mine were fine with 1 white egg for a long time...then they started picking them! Finally put some golf balls in the nests and it seems to have stopped.

Humm... read that thing about the "chicken translator"... wonder if different chickens from different countries speak different "chicken"?

North people... keep safe! Hope we get at least some rain.

oh jeez! It sounds like most of you are having hot temps and bad weather to boot! I hope everyone (and their critters) is okay and with power!!!!!

It has been nice here today with temps in the upper 70s, mild wind gusts, and lots of sun. It does look like we might get a touch of rain around midnight.

DH planted pansies and peppers today. I pulled weeds in the front ornamental garden.

We are headed to the Indy 500 this weekend. They are predicting 95+ degrees and high humidity for race day...UGH! We will be leaving the chicks for 2 nights and three days. We have a large feeder and 3Gal. waterer, so I plan on filling it all up before leaving and praying that they make it through the heat while we are gone.

DH just came in from closing his car windows and said that it was muggy out, I guess the weather is moving faster than I suspected.

Good night all...DH is going to bed and my computer is charging next to him....so I am being kicked out!!!!! LOL

Tylenol and Ibu. is helping I have a high pain tolerency so when I take 2 tylenol and follow them an hour later with an ibu YOU know I'm in pain! it sucks! not to mention I've had ice on it off and on ALL day. I called my insurance today to see if the surgery would be covered.... they told me that their system was down and to call tomorrow lol buttheads! I will call Dr tomorrow. sounds like if my dr recommends it it WILL be covered.
I keep forgetting to say this..... I had a gizmo kitty too! I miss him
thats all I can handle with typing later all time for a shower I'm stinkin' HOT!

Pasty butt. How long should it go on for? Is there anything you can do besides just cleaning it off?

My blue silkie with the big vaulted skull has horrible pasty butt. I swear I just cleaned her yesterday, but the poop ball mess was huge! It took like 15 min to soak and rub it off, poor thing! Any helpful ideas for me?

I got a line on some chocolate muskovys. I took a look at them today and they are so cute. Only 20 miles from here. Our power went out for about 4-5 hours. I got to see the news at ten and there are a lot of trees down and streets closed but nobody is hurt. Who is Dennis Fuller? Tiger rolled in poison ivy yesterday and I gave her a bath shortly after `~so far no itchies. Put olive oil on the chicks butt and a little oregano in their food. That sucks about having all your animals eaten. Would cut down on the feed bill in the future though. Sorry for everyone in pain and itching.

Today was a three ring circus at work!!!

I walked in today to find out that my co-worker's idiot BF decided to try and off himself last night while she was at work..... so she had to call the cops and hightail it out of there. My boss had to come in to cover for her and try to get something done during business hours today and then come back in to work the night shift!!!! I ended up staying late to help cover some hours so that he could hold off on coming in. What a mess!!!!

This weekend is looking like he!! too..... oh goodie. I am just grateful I do not have to work on Sunday with the heat!
