KN~no, no!!! no more rain. we have a roadtrip to Menominee this morning!
Cind~I do the best I can but you would be surprised the mess just hubby and I (and critters)can make running in and out of our little
home!
and you have children!!! I just tell folks "we LIVE here". I like my home to look nice if someone stops by too of course, but if it's not perfect, if they are friends they won't care, if they do, they're not really friends and if they are strangers then WHO CARES!

vick got me to thinking I had set up a snow fence on the outside of my chicken fences and left about a foot and planted some multi colored morning glories. Within a few days of them coming up they were all eaten except two. I showed someone that was over here the two and the next day they were gone.
Here they are poking their little heads through te spaces in the fence. Now they have snookered a way in between the snow fence and it seems like the only Prime place to take a dust bath is in between the two fences in that little space.

Cind, I keep a liter of Hydrogen Peroxide on hand in case of skunk encounters. Mix it with 1 tsp dish soap and enough baking soda to form a thin paste, and scrub away. It works better than mater juice.

No sign of the Bob yet. He's never not shown up in the morning. Hopin he got closed up in the neighbors garage.
Had to order the new washin mochine it'll be here Tues so that will give me time to add an outlet on the back porch and run a drain. L loves me A LOT today! We have a dryer but have been doing the washing downtown and their water storage tank went kaput. It's been closed for about 2 weeks so L's been doing a load at work once in awhile. Things are pretty solemn around here right now.

Amy - I really laughed at that, I read it to DH and he laughed too. I posted it on FB, I wonder if my mom will understand it lol
Well we were out cleaning up the yard until it started raining. But it stopped now so I guess I should get back out there. I am pumping out the pond today and filling it in. I am not happy with it, there is not enough cirtulation so its turns green and stinky. Oh well, it took maybe an hour to dig out so no big loss. We are trying to burn up one of the wood piles so we can start working on some others. DH mowed the lawn last night and guess what he did ......................... HE HIT A ROCK AND IT PUT A HUGE CRACK IN MY WINSHIELD !!! Gahhhh I swear. Lucky it didnt shatter , hopefully it will hold till we can get another. And of all places its right in front of the drivers side. go figure.
Well on the chicken front, not much is going on. They are 18 weeks old now and I'm crossing my fingers to see an egg soon I know it wont be much I just want to get my first egg . DH seen the ducks mating for the first time lol. He was like, what is heck is that duck doing. lol then the drake jumped out of the pool and the female popped up. Hopefully we'll be getting duck eggs soo as well
