Hi all!.... WHOOT ! WHOOT!! It cooled off! Well, at least enough so I don't wonder if I'll make it back to the house!
DrH....So glad Bob is back to being a pain in your *****! I thought you fixed that door weeks ago!
TO... Congrats on the canning!... get anything else yet?
Bf4m.... Know just how you feel about "THEM" getting all that rain! D@mn rain hogs! Then they brag about all the good garden stuff they're gettin' too.... just to rub it in!
<---(me in this weather.... with NO RAIN!) Sounds like some good egg trades!
BigZ...Now that I got that little valve thing figured out
That waterer is nice! Still have to do 2 trips to fill it... but not bad as I don't have to do it as often. After cleaning I fill it 1/2 full, bring it to the coop then take a bucket out to fill it. Someday I want to get another one to replace the metal one outside.
Amy... Congrats on the eggs! You too H&R!!!
WCc... Sounds like you had quite a time with those people ... I feel for the horses too! Bet they were none too happy about it! I used to help my uncle break and train, nothing fancy, just basics. My cousin liked the ring work and showing but was afraid of a green broke! I was 2 years younger and 6' shorter but I passed horses up to her
However I haven't rode in 30 years either so I can sympathizes.
BL4....That sucks so bad it blows! Sure hope you can get it worked out! Love the idea of plastic birds all over and duck calls! hehehe
Well, when I closed up the coop I grabbed all the waterers and cleaned them, filled them and put them back about 1am. I they were finally getting a good nights sleep because no one woke up when I put them back!
I'm still smelling skunk outside... they better not get near my coop!
Because of the heat it's not as secure as I would like.
My family (on both sides) as far back as I could tell is German with about 1/8th Polish. My first husband was German/ Hungarian. DH is German.... How did that happen in this day and age! LOL There is a town in North Germany along the Rhine named Trier after one of my ancestors! Not sure what areas the other German relatives came from but they all came in the early 1900's as far as I know.
Well, guess you can tell I'm felling better. LOL..... Night All!
