Warm Sunday To Everyone Old and New....got lucky last night and received some rain for the parched spuds..hope it was enough to grow big ones.

Tonight for supper, Venzun Loins wrapped in bacon with baked spuds made with fresh basil and onions....couple Leinie long necks cause I like em.... Heaven on the Hill. Think a few pre supper long necks also on the menu...

Hope you get even with the coon kristip.....sure wish they tasted like chicken.

Forgot to mention congrats on the cake TO.....how did it taste?

Been eating a ton of cukes and zukes here too. Prolly be makin some of the nordge pickles soon Doc. Dang they stay crisp. Should of done the sparegrass that way, think it would work that way.

Friday I celebrated my 41st anniversary for being able to wear a one one !!! For those of you that don't get it.......... It's been 41 years since my first bout with cancer and they chopped my leg off !!! (Well I'm sure they did it a bit more civilized then that after all I'm not as old as Jim LOL)
Then of course in the past 41 years got struck twice more. Will be 24 years in August since my last bout.
I just hope if DH has it that his luck and outcome will be as good but I worry that he is alot more fragile then me.......probably cause he was born male !!! Us
B!tches are tougher !!!!

Called about a sh!t spreader in Wis Rapids on CL. $350. Sure would like one. I could use it to spread all the BS that we do on here !!!! LOL

Oh and you guys with veggies from the garden. Knock that Sh!t off !!! Some of us never got our gardens in !!!

Just catching up and attempting to stay cool. Went to F&F and got a live trap because we have something under the house. Rat or squirrel maybe.

So I will set it and see what we catch. The either release it or kill it depending on what it is.

Kristi-MG= Modern Game. Tiki is right. They make great show birds for kids! This is the type the TO just too Reserve Champion with. Hers came from me, who I got from Joshua DeLong as chicks. He has really really nice birds and I have his contact info if you decide to go that way and want to get some. Sorry about your loss...

Tiki-I am surprised that the "certified" person did not say the cause of global warming was created by American humans....I agree with you on the attention span thing. It's going to get even worse. DH was telling me that kids who are 18 years old and younger have never lived in a world without cell phones. People under 30 have never lived in a world without MTV.

Younger person with health complaint.... Yesterday morning i bent down to pick up a toy and something shifted in my back. Hurts like he!! It feels like something stabbed my back and is still sitting in there. I don't normally have issues like this, but of course because I'm training and running every other day, it happens. So I'm off to the chiro tomorrow morning at 9am. I even called her cell phone today to warn her, I mean SHARE with her, my glorious self visiting her. Now I just have to make it through until then.

Hubby is taking the whole fam to see Ice Age 4 in the Dells tonight. It shoud be a nice family outing.

Regarding chickens... Air conditioner s on, seemed to have another shelless egg, had one pullet egg, and one broken egg. I don't know what to think? Egg eater, or it just broke. The egg and yolk were just sitting in the nest box...?

What are you 30 something ....... Sh!t happens at that age.......Warning, it's just the beginning !!!! Carried to many babies in that pouch of yours !!! LOL Just kidding...... heat is getting to me. My sense of humor has graduated to one like yours !!!! LOL

I forgot to mention the Fleet Farm ad had a product in it called Poultry Cal for $4.99. It replaces calcium and grit.... I have some but don't know how it works yet. Still in the garage .......... Dang DH told him I want him to find it and bring it out.

Lost a silkie and another younger bird today. I'm sure it is the heat. Hotter then h3ll and I think maybe the bigger ones are dominating the younger ones?

Have 3 more LO eggs and a few paint silkie eggs to put in the oven... I man bator. Can't seem to resist hatching those !!! Dang chicken math. My plan is to have a whole coop of the lavender orps.

Back from the store to get the chicken food. More expensive then he told me it would be. Average price $13.47 a bag. I got 3 med chick starter, 3 duck and goose grower and 3 17% layer. I was told the layer was $10.10 his price and they tack on just a tad bit more. Yeah right. $3.... I'll have to call him tomorrow and find out what the deal is.
Can ya all tell I'm hot and crabby. Hope DH has a head on the top of his body tomorrow. They do need to go down his throat and having a mouth would make it easier hey???? lol
