Hi Gina

hi folks,

I can't wait to hear Jim complain about the price of premium,,,heh heh
I don't buy into the school of thought about ethanol eating rubber components too many years of running the stuff now have proved the naysayers wrong imo

glad you know where your pants are today Heather

Oh MLH, Migraines are no no fun... So sorry to hear! I hope you have some drugs that can kick it... I know that's not always a given for the more severe headaches.

Yep, i have pens on the coops. They are use to freedom, and this is lockdown to them. I'm getting the big scold with every trip near the coops. I should of been clearer...sorry for that.

The Bobcats are actually territorial and aren't moving on any time soon. They mark their territory with urine and scat and tree markings. It's no wonder no one else has a prob with them...they move in and don't move out. Especially when it's chicken for breakfast dinner and supper! it's hunting school without a watch here. Basic rules are just that. Hunger changes all the rules.

I'm getting 4 tons of organic grain shipped here from SD on Saturday. I only wanted 1000 lbs and managed to find buyers for the rest. Its buckwheat, hard spring wheat, oats and flax. I wonder if I could feed that mix to the pigs we're getting next yr. I know buckwheat can cause photosensitivity but that aside, I wonder if that could be fed as their main grain.

Ok this is extremely annoying.... I tried posting pics 6 different times, and the stupid BYC photo uploader kept uploading the same pics! I would pick different ones and it would keep loading the same ones over and over!

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I had this problem too until I fixed my camera so that all the pics had a different number...HTH! Tinlovewiththosecherries!

good PM, just have a few minutes right now so this will be brief..
Dan,
I spilled a whole bunch of that high test gas onto the floor.. after I put the carb back together and onto the tractor. I decided to put a new screen filter and gasket into the sediment bowl.. I should have left it alone.. It leaked right off the bat.. so I took the screen out.. still leaked.. so I put the old gasket in,, now it decided that it was going to leak no matter what I did.. So I took the gas tank off.. removed the sediment bowl assembly and went to town.. I bought a new fitting, inline filter, 2 feet of gas line, and some hose clamps.. got it all assembled and put gas into the tank.
the new float needle wasn't holding the gas back.. so off with the carb.. put the old needle back in and all is well.. well, sort of.. I think I puked the starter when I smoked it a couple of times.. It will not turn over when it gets hot,,, and it gets hot real quick..

tomorrow the starter will get a ride to Schofield to J&R rebuilders.. that guy can fix anything..

I sold 2 more pullets today..

gotta go put gramma to bed.. bbl.....

This is really a challenge.... Facebook, Twitter and BYC all going at once!

I dont know...you might blow up your computer....
Good evening--I am still here...trying to keep up but it is tough when I have days kind of off! By the time I am done with my day I am dead tired...much easier to work all day I guess!

So I just popped in to catch up (and look at the "fantastic" pictures of the bash) an now I need to go out and feed PM and then to bed...sheesh--I feel like I am on a treadmill!
Vicki, all I can say is that it better not sn*w here any time soon...my houseplants are still outside for cripes sakes!
So good night all and I am glad you got to see me in my "best" face,,,and NO-Tommy did not have a hang-over. That bird LOVES his booze for sure! Tonight he shared an omelet with me and I have to tell you that he learned how to play with the chicken toy! I have this yellow ball that if a chicken pecks at it it lets out a few treats. My DS23 said that a chicken couldnt learn how to do it because their brain isnt big enough...well, I just showed him 3x and he knows how to do it now! [he is a very smart chicken!]

Good night everyone! Talk tomorrow morning...Terri O
