Good afternoon. After spending a lot of time outside the house actually feels warm. No heat on and not able to burn wood either. I am thinking I should bake something to warm up the house!

I was out taking pics of the chickens for the feed study thing and I thought I would post a pic of my surprise this morning. I bet you all know what this "look" means!

I was pretty surprised when I opened the outer coop door this morning and they all piled out. I wonder how many more broodies I have hiding out?

HeII no !! I am in a really good mood..

I sold 15 chickens today combined,, to 2 different people.. the Asian took 4 roosters.. I don't think he was looking for pets, though..

I also got the governer fixed.. I had to take off the radiator, and both V-belts to get at it..

I took the carb off and shortened the choke cable about 2 inches.. It works much smoother now..

and,, I got the governer linkage all adjusted, according to the book.. It was very easy to get at without the carb in the way..

I got all my emails answered and now I am thinking that it was a long time since breakfast..

Just finished putting ivomec on the chickens and now I'm scared I may have gotten too much on the first few! And not sure what I was thinking but I never put gloves on..and this IS absorbed thru the skin! Argh! Not sure I care to repeat this process again in 2 wks. My poor cockerals were so upset with me stressing the hens out!

Vicki, we have PLENTY of bear right here in Waupaca County. I always hear about bears but I have never seen one other than the zoos.

Dh has FINALLY taken the AC units out of the windows!

I guess sleeping with his pillow over his head last night was the last straw.....

All of your chit-chat of heated dog bowls reminded me I needed to get the ducks a new one so they could keep their 'spa' in the winter time. I have to say, when ducks do not have access to some kind of water to bathe in they look pretty ratty.

Cleaned out the fishtank so the goldfish can move back inside. I am going to let it run for a day or two before I put the fish back in it so the chlorine will clear out.

That's about it for this evening so far.

Hello all--A.bubs--I bet you will not have worms at least! LOL! Good job! I have no idea what kind she is...maybe that mille fleur that i had for a while made her? She is one of the young ones from last year as far as I know....this is her second batch this year so we will see how she does.

My friend said that if I water my plants really well they wont get frosted tonight...I am doing an experiment to see if she is right....results tomorrow--stay tuned!
