Morning everyone
- kind of gray looking outside- will be interesting to see if we get any of the rain/snow/sleet mix as they are calling for today- DH is not ready for it to stay- have to switch over equipment yet and no spare time to work on it.
Talked with my mom this am- the ER doctor figures that my dad has an infection in his ankle- not sure how it happened but maybe he got poke by something when he was outside doing some yard work
. My dad had chills and was running a fever and my mom thought she was see signs indicating a stroke so she finally must of convince him to let her call the ambulance and take him in. So it was after midnight when he got there and they started him on antibotics and did the CT scan and probably ran some others just to make sure. He will be there for a couple of days at this point. My dad fell about 3.5 years ago on ice, hitting his head very hard(they had to drain fluid off his brain) and messed himself up pretty good then so they probably have to take that into consideration as well. My mom said that he was starting to look better when she left him around 4 am this morning- she was going to take a nap and head in a bit later today since she knew he was stable. My dad just turned 82 at the end of Oct. and my mom is in her late 70's. It is always hard to wait and hear what is going on but sometimes easier not to crowd the waiting area especially for the grandkids. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, you guys are great
Back to the paperwork pile to keep my mind moving.
