I don't know for sure if I'm getting a dog. I'm dog sitting for my friend right now. There are certainly things that annoy me. He can't be let out with out being on a leash. He pulls terribly on the leash. He has been garbage surfing a lot. And he wants to chase/play/eat my birds, so I can't let him loose in the fenced backyard.i think all those things I can train for properly but don't want to jump into inside dog world lightly.

Seriously thinking about CCs sister and my silkies....

I just came in from outside.. I wrapped all the corners and the doorway of the dog coop with aluminum.. It looks really neat.. and folks, this last half hour it turned really really cold.. It was not too bad while the sun could shine on me,, but once it went behind the trees, it got COLD>>

all I have left to do is make a removable board in the doorway to hold back the wood shavings from spilling out.. Oh yeah,, and grind off the few screw tips that are poking into the inside of the coop.

Annie suggested that I put wheels on the coop and push it around when I want to move it.. She also suggested that I put a picture on Craig's List and make some and sell them.. I would have to get at least $300.oo for one just to break even.. I doubt that anybody would pay that for a dog coop..

Vicki, you would like me,, I would pay you to NOT make pumpkin pies.. or Jello either.. yuck and yuck...

More on Tamara's story; she brought a petition into work today. She is trying to get the DNR to change a new rule that requires all orphaned bear cubs and fawns to be killed. Rehabilitators are no longer allowed to help them. I believe the fawns are limited to CWD zones. They claim to have found a positive door in a neighboring county, but the deer had sat for months before they tested it. Everyone around here finds the whole thing a little fishy. If anyone wants to help put a stop to this please contact Cathy Stepp, DNR secretary.
