Your heading out shopping in this weather? I can't beleive I was in a t shirt this morning and now the ground is covered in white? Do you really find that great of deals on black friday? Even dealing with the crowds? Are we still doing Holidazzle weekend in the cities?

Yes, it was in the big oak tree next to our driveway. It was the first thing you saw when you walked out of the house. That was the second deer he butchered there this year PLUS a couple of his out of state friends had deer hanging there. They at least brought the whole animal in to be processed so I didn't have to deal with the carcass. Now today he shot another buck and I told him that thing is not going in that tree so he better find someone to take it. My brother is supposed to pick it up in the morning.
I am still planning on the Minneapolis/Holidazzle trip. I think we'll leave here at 1:00 and poke around till the parade starts and then drive home after instead of getting a hotel. Do you still want to come?

well, I be damd,, it worked this time.. I figure I can easily haul two dozen 4o to 50 pound bales now..

later I will try to send a shot of my young peacock.. he has new tail feathers.. I thought they grew them back in the spring.. maybe his bio-clock is screwed up, eh ? the Sebastopol geese are mating, too.. but that doesn't surprise me, since they usually lay eggs about this time each year..

I like to think of them as vintage tires.. when is the last time you saw wide white walls like those, eh?

I ate too much too,, I could have eaten more, but I didn't..

Annie had a coupon for a butterball turkey.. 14 pounds.. so that is what I cooked up.. and last night I sold 2 frozen freerange turkeys to a friend of DD#1 ,, sort of Ironic, huh?

I am afraid that I might be forced to do some projects.. just so I can send pictures.. I should take a before and after picture of the inside of the garage.. but then I would be forced to clean / straighten it out..

Hi all!
Glad those that had a big Turkey Day, things went well. To those who didn't ... Oh well, we had years like that too. This year was weird for us. Started out I was going to feed 8 and yesterday it dropped to 3. Guess I'll be making lots of turkey pot pies for the freezer! What other good ideas do people have for leftovers? I never had this much leftovers before! Usually a few sandwiches, some soup and it's gone!
