Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Will have to try it. :)

Just got done supervising painting with the boys. They had a blast with poster paints and coloring pages of tractors, trucks, trains, & construction vehicles.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!
I am finally recovered I think- I stayed up for 40hours before i finally went to bed last night at 11p. Got up Thanksgiving morning, made my food, went to my sisters and then left from there to hit the mall and other stores. Shopped for 24hrs before calling it quits. I got soooo much done which is a huge relief. Little bit left to do and that's it! My parents kept the kiddos overnight, so I slept until 11 this morning. First time I've slept since 8a in I don't know how long.
Well- I'm at least 7 pages behind so I'm gonna try to catch up quick.
Have a good night all

Ok guys, there are a lot of firsts here. First tme I have posted pictures on line. My son helped me, he left before I actually did it so they are backwards to the narrative i had in mind. He's so ignorant (sarcasm). First cat I've EVER paid for.....$1,000 purebred ragdoll...I'm so wrapped around my first and only daughter's finger, she wasn't even around or even heard of a ragdoll and it had to be 'the one' based on the kitten picture they got me with. Papers and receipt on premises. These 3 kittens are the result of a night on the town...only time she ever got out overnight. I think the father is either a raccoon or a panda bear but our Chiggy (Corgi/Chihuahua) is pretty sure they're his. Don't read too much into that, we haven't had the birds and bees talk. I'm in no hurry to have that talk since there are no female panda bears around and we all know stuffed animals can't reproduce. Anyway, I really am gonna ask ten bucks for them just to ensure a good home UNLESS it is one of you guys or someone you would vouch for in which case, they're free. You all seem like good people. It is a known fact that chickens won't stay with nongood people, unless, in only some cases, there are over five hundred, 'can't get loose' production chickens. Let me know if anyone is looking for a kitten with ragdoll qualities, cause I got three that are halfway there......

Thank you, I was really pleased with how it came out. I'll treasure it for years to come.

Looks like the Iowa Blues Chicken Club is going to get a kick in the pants to get going. One of us took a cock to the Iowa City show and created a bit of a ripple, being the only one entered and the only non-standard one entered, LOL. We'll have to correct that in 2013. At any rate, it's a grand push to get the club kick-started, so we'll be electing some officers and creating a committee to get the rough standard finalized and submitted to SOP to get the process started, so showing them will hopefully count towards acceptance into the standard in 5 years. :)

Birthday cake was good tonight, hubby bought me a monitor for photo editing (as this laptop really is tough to judge photos) for a gift. Now where to mount it as I float between upstairs and downstairs depending on the boys and what I'm doing.

Ugh, got a call from work, waiting to see if I have to brave the cold and head in or not. :p

Really don't want to leave this lovely fire I've got going in the fireplace. We'll see what happens.

And the results are in!!!!! That pie crust is worth making! I will admit, mine was a little tough (I added too much water), but for a first try not too shabby! My BIL was very appreciative, he said he had not had any pie since he was diagnosed so this was a nice treat! Apparently everyone else thought it was edible, there was only one piece left.

So has anyone else tried to make this crust yet?

I will have to get the pics off the camera to show all of you.

Jim, your brooder pens look like my duck pen. :)

Really tired, it has been a long weekend....

Hi All!

Not going to run 2 windows... son is online too.

Very nice pics! Yes Hurley, that one looks like a prize winner!

DrH.... Yep, I charged the phone so I won't miss you. "Little Moe" had a tummy ache the last 2 days but gave him some olive oil and he's all "clear" and ready to go! LOL.... I just realized you probably won't read this 'till you get home! :p

SR... How old are those kittens? They look so big compared to mine! But then, Isis is a real small cat.

Well. guess that's it for now...CRS has kicked in.... Night all!
