I've only had 2 poke through the gums, one got a cavity and infected. After being on antibiotics for a week, dentist put a pick looking thing with a curve on it and popped it out. $85.00 out the door... But I wouldn't have any pain shots.. Doc thought I was funny, but needles skeer me
