So my Silke roos just started up when my frizzle girls started laying. Anyway all of the ones I have cracked open have been fertile!
Soooooooo for my very first time I am now incubating my very OWN EGGS!

Please wish me luck because I hope that I will at least get one baby. 10 eggs have gone in tonight!

My roos have a very small crow now so If they get any louder I have to get rid of them....but I am so happy to have some fertile eggs for a while.

I will keep everyone updated on day 3-4 to see if I see any veining.

Come on i want to be a grandma!

Good luck!!! I'm using eggs from my own flock too and same as you - every egg seemed to be fertile so I put 41 of them in the incubator, and every one has a chick! 23 have now hatched and most of the others are pipping. Seems to be much better chances than with shipped eggs.

I've got 43 button quail in the bator that were shipped and due to hatch today and nothing...not a thing...but I'm not giving up!!!

Hang in there and try to be patience. Easier said then done. lol I'm hatching from my flock now and it feel's like 6 month's have gone by already. They are due this wednesday. This is what it felt like as a kid waiting on christmas. lol Out of 13 egg's I see movement in 10. That is the most amazing thing I've come across in year's as I've just figured out how to candle this past week. Life just couldn't get any better. [Well maybe if I hit the lottery it would be close] lol PEACE
