Wish me luck...please!

I do sell wholesale. There's a country store in my home town selling them and I have another store in Raleigh getting ready to buy from me. I have about 4-5 other stores I'm looking into and starting in the Spring I'm going to send samples to B&Bs and gift shops in the outer banks (NC beaches for those who don't know). I've been thinking about getting a part time job because even though people think that a soap making business is this great money maker...it's not. I'd have to have a lot of accounts to make a living, plus online sales AND craft shows. I always say this is a full time business with part time money and it's soooo true.

I'm hoping to make some good money this weekend! I have to make at least $300 just to cover the booth rental, hotel, food and gas.

I have never really looked at home made soaps before and I first thought that your prices were very cheep, but after researching other hand made soaps your prices are in line with others. I think your site is very nice. Have you thought of (or maybe you all ready do) make children's soaps? Mango Street is a high end children's store in the shopping center that my store is in (you know the kind that sells $2000 strollers and $200 hand knitted toys

) you know, CRAP kids do not need but it might be an interesting avenue for you to look into. They have a bath section and I think they just opened a second store.

Sorry if I sound retarded I just love entrepreneurs (as I am one myself) and I do not want to see you get another job, I want you to be the Martha Stewart of soap! Oh and that is not a joke I LOVE Martha, I can only dream to be as successful as she.

Southern, Dont you worry...you are going to do just fine! I have not bought any of your products...but have read MANY post on how weel they are liked! I just know you can do this...you have the " get up and go" to get it done!
Just remember, GO POTTY before it all starts...so Danny wont be TOO freaked out! LOL He will be fine to! Oh, and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Oh you should get in touch with cracker barrel. I know it is totally corporate but you could make a killing, of course you would have to beef up operations and hire some help. Oh like Gail Pittman, she started painting pottery out of her kitchen in the 80's and I think she netted over 7 million last year!

I have strayed, I am sorry. Good luck at your show.

Well wish you all the luck and make more soaps! you will be just fine and wow those customers!

I can vouch for some of her soaps which they are wonderful! The lavender and goat milk is my favorite and that Pink sugar soap smelled so good even my daughter enjoys soaping up her hands so good. They dont seem to run out as fast as store bought soaps.

I figured with the usage out of these soaps, I may have to replenish next year after the holidays.

I just ordered some of your soaps to give as christmas gifts. I can't wait to get them. If they are half as good as everyone on BYC says they are I am sure you will do great. Deep breaths and relax. Enjoy yourself.

I've been wondering where you've been. We've missed your postings.

Good luck at your craft show. You will do great! I love your soap. I've been using your lavender and goats milk. I'm getting ready to ship some off that I bought from you for one of my best friend's B-day.

I flaked out and missed the sale you had. I had gone online and started putting stuff in the cart and was going to finish shopping the next day, but got busy.
I'll get back on there and order some before mas......if you don't sell it all at the craft show.

You and Danny have a great Turkey Day! Let us know how your show goes.

Kim
