Heathenry is complicated. Nazi types have claimed it as their path which makes it difficult for others who don’t believe their doctrine to follow. Fortunately the Heathen community has stepped up to let the nazis know their views are unacceptable and not mainstream. Unfortunately though, many sources for information were written after the christians started forcing conversion. There are many sources though, and cross referencing has helped to glean some information. The following two websites are where I’ve learned the most and best information about this path. The authors cite their sources and explain how they came to their conclusions. Both also offer a list of books to read.

This first site is for Saxon Heathenry, but it goes into other Scandinavian beliefs too such as Norse of Old English
