Wobbly 5 Week Old Chick

Thanks for the video, what a sweet girl!

She's very unbalanced. I would start her on Vitamins asap.
Give 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4tablet B-Complex daily along with little egg for the uptake of E. See that she's eating her normal feed and drinking well.

Deworming *might* help, but I'm not sure if worms at 5weeks old would be that big of an issue. Most folks don't even think about deworming until birds at least 6weeks or older and there's a known problem with worms in the flock.

You can find Vitamin E and B-Complex at stores like CVS, Walmart, etc. Examples are below.

IF you still wish to deworm, then you can use Safeguard 10% Liquid Goat Dewormer or Equine Paste. I'll put dosing below.

To treat most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworm you can use Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole). Both are given orally by weight; they do not mix well with water.
Safeguard 10% Liquid Goat Dewormer or 10% Equine Paste dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row.
Here's how to give oral medications:

She is such a sweetie and I feel so bad for her. I want to help her! Thank you so much for the vitamin suggestions! Heading in to town right now and will get everything! How long should I do the vitamins? Week? 2 weeks? Hope to see some change!

Editing to add, do you see how her comb is way smaller and paler than the others? Could that also be a sign of vitamin deficiency?

Hard to know how long to give the vitamins, 2-3weeks at least. Then see if she's improved.
Once improved or much better, then start tapering the off.

She is a bit paler than the others, but some chicks are like that, they don't all mature at the same rate.

I'd watch to make sure she's eating o.k., with her having to try to balance, she may not be eating as much as she should.

Ok good point. I may bring her inside and give her alone time to eat. She seems to eat outside but the other girls run in to her a lot and she gets interrupted.

Deworming is easy to do and will not hurt in case there are no worms. But worms can cause severe health issues including death.

Ever since I started to deworm my chicks at an early age there have never been any more runts and their digestive system is much more resisistant to coccidia as it is not damaged by worms.

Have you checked the inside of her ears for any kind of gunk or tics or mites?
And what about her eyes? To me it appears as if she might have compromised vision.

I’m going to check her eyes and ears when I give her the vitamins and report back

Her eyes appear ok? Her pupils react like they should. No swelling or sores or glazing. She ate the vitamin D like it was her crumble but had to peck at it a couple times each piece. I couldn’t really see inside her ears. She was also not happy with me that I squirted vitamin E on her tongue lol. Tonight when I bring them in to sleep I’ll try to check in her ears. Do I just move her feathers back a little?

Ok vitamin E and B on board. I was too scared to get anything down her wind pipe so I opened her mouth and squirted the E at the end of her tongue and she ate it. Then I took the quarter tablet of B and broke it in half and she ate it like it was crumble, no problem. I’ll let her calm down a bit then bring her inside alone with some egg and water and hope she eats it.

She was super unsure of the egg by herself so I brought in the other 3 and once one of them tried it, they all went crazy for it. She held her own and I watched her fight them to eat at least a quarter of it lol. Hopefully tomorrow she won’t need the others to remember she likes it! She’s so sweet and cute I hope she makes it through this!
