woke up this morning

    at 4:30 screaming... I had a charlie horse... scared my hubby half to death ... he jumped out of bed and knocked the box fan over...
    now my leg is still hurting... actually worse than this morning.. I can hardly walk.. I hope that i don't get another one... any tips on getting the pain to ease up?

    i get them if i am dehydrated... my meds gave me the "runs" and i had them about 3x's a week.. finally changed meds and no more dehydration..try drinking more liquids

    When you get another charlie horse, point your toes as hard as you can away from your body - like you are trying to push on a car's accelerator with just your toes. Hold for 10 seconds.
    Then point your heel in the same manner. Hold for ten seconds.
    It will usually stop the muscle spasm.
